Does anyone remember the munar orbit station I started a month or two ago? Well I found out yesterday that I still had it, so I finally sent up the first crew.
BTK-3 launches on a Zenit rocket for the Salyut M-1 station. Bill, Bob, and Valentina are all squeezed inside the Command Module for a two day trip.
One relatively uneventful launch later, BTK and the Zenit upper stage are in parking orbit, preparing to perform TMI. Later missions will use a more powerful upper stage to save maneuvering fuel in the spacecraft.

Thanks to all the docking lights I put on the station, a night docking was possible. Also, I did the the whole thing with MechJeb... Please don't hurt me.
Here's the station's current layout: Core Module on left, Cargo Logistics Module in the middle, and BTK-3 docked on the right. The next move is to get another docking adapter up here so more APAS equipped spacecraft can dock with the station, and then get the Solar Truss installed.

A little side project while I wait for CommanderSpock to iron out the problems with the Mark IV Tank:
A Type VIIB U-Boat in the works. I still have to build the side fuel tanks, fill in the interior, and test the thing. I doubt I'll be able to put torpedoes in it, so I'm using structural intakes as a substitute.
Side profile view. It may need to be a little bit longer, and possibly have a larger upper hull, but it looks pretty close to scale here.
Oh boy, look at all this interior space I have to play with! I can probably do a full interior, I found some good reference photos to use.
​Just kidding about the sub tech war, Azimech's sub is still better than this little boat.

The Kerbin-departure stage of an N1-C in parking orbit. The Soyuz 9K-LOK "Kestrel" CSM is visible, with a next-generation LK vehicle still protected under the second set of fairings.
Well don't just sit there, show us what's under the fairings!

I think we should just let ghostbuzzer7 do it, since he was the first to volunteer for this week.

I was about to make my usual complaint about the IVA being too sparse, but I remembered that fighter cockpits don't normally have the almighty cargo bags in them...

How do people feel about moving it to Thursday, after this week's? I still have more time on Friday, but since it's rotating between people, it could be on Thursday. Thoughts?
It seems like more people would have time on Friday, considering that it's the beginning of the weekend and all. Also, keeping it on Friday makes it a sort of treat for the weekend.

I would just delete the poll and post a new one. That way people who previously voted on the incomplete poll can vote for somebody else (me) and the people who think they're funny and decided to vote for an empty spot can actually do something with their lives and place a serious vote (for me).

I noticed a slight inaccuracy in the cockpit. Most British bombers only had one pilots seat in the cockpit.

I think the wings need work, and the engines could use a little aesthetic improvement.
A good trick to make the jet engines look smaller is to use radial symmetry to put a bunch of structural intakes around it.
