  1. I just tried the latest release of ASS with the latest KSP. Result: it works. I didn't see any errors either. If it doesn't show up for you in the toolbar please make sure you installed it properly. Directory structure is important! The zip that can be downloaded from GitHub already contains the correct structure as well as all required files. Simply extract it into your KSP installation directory.

    I didn't play Kerbal in a while so i wasn't aware that it didn't work with 1.5.X. I'll patch it up/recompile it over the weekend.

    It managed to glitch up while loading up my SPH folder... which consequently caused the entire SPH folder to be lost. Just bam, gone, and then was replaced by a fresh, empty SPH folder.

    Fortunately, I managed to recover most of my crafts and subsequent directories with crafts (everything except what I did in the past two days, which fortunately either isn't much, or was uploaded to KerbalX) with a data recovery tool, but... would be nice if Craft History's method of loading craft was a little more foolproofed against this kind of thing...

    This is the first time i heard of this happening. During loading it only reads data and nothing is being written so i don't see how CraftHistory could have deleted all your craft files.

    Do you happen to have a log file from when this happened ?

    ASS doesn't care about planet names. I'll have a look into this when i find the time.

    Is this from a mod ? If so ASS will need a plugin to recognize this.
    If you want this so it's more realistic open up a feature request on GitHub and we will add the option when we find the time.

    Right-click on the RecoverAll or DestroyAll icon which will bring up the settings. There you have to select which types of craft you want to be visible. Following that you can close that window and use the main window again to recover or destroy everything that fits the specified categories.

  8. @Gordon Dry to me it looks like this is an issue with ProceduralParts/SmartTank as this sort of exception apears all over the log file and not just for ASS. I'll add a check for this in the next version of ASS, but stock and other mods will still show the very same exception.

    This plays nicely with a career mode. The 100 value is way too high.

    For example, for 25 reputation points, which is approximately when starting researching Mun and rockets typically cost 20,000-40,000 each on average, the  5 value gives 1535 funds daily and now default 100 value - it will give 40,000 funds...

    If you keep in mind that Mun and Minmus exploration takes about a week (7 days),.. 100 setting gives 300,000 after arrival which is even more than 1st reach-Mun contract gives..
    The 5 will give only 10,000 after 7 days, which is about 1/2-1/3 of the rocket and looks perfectly reasonable.

     

    That is, unless you want to make DailyFunds the prime source of income for career instead of existing contracts. But still, contracts give reputation, so doing them is necessary anyway. Thanks!

    Its the default results window and as such i don't think that it's possible. I'll have a look at it later see here.

    We didn't get to test it yet fully so the pre-release is a way of us to tell you that we didn't test it fully and it may contain bugs. It should be fully stable but just in case. We dont have any eta on how long it will take to test it all.

    It shouldn't increase or decrease it in any way.

    All it does is just increase/decrease the modifier from the stock explosions and with that being said it doesn't use SmokeScreen.

    The whole idea behind the toolbar was to not use too much space with all our mods so I do agree that it should be optional and not on by default.

     

    Edit: To clarify I mean that by default the KerboKatz toolbar should be used and the user can decide not to use it.
