No matter what you're the best at, there is a record to be held for it! whether it be heaviest payload into orbit, fastest time to the Mun, or you're the best at torturing Kerbals, this is the place for you to shine. Anyone can beat an existing record, or set a new one. but there are a few requirements for this: The record must be measurable. It cannot be 'best looking spaceship' as beauty is in the eye of the beholder, not the Geiger counter. there must only be one variable. We can judge 'fastest time to the Mun.' But not 'fastest time to the Mun with the largest ship.' Craft files and screenshots(mainly the F3 screen)/videos(no craft needed here) are required for maximum chance of approval, along with instructions on how to re-create the record.{craft files can be uploaded through dropbox, or any other method, just Google: 'file sharing'} No cheating. the record must be completed in a way that someone could beat it with a fresh game. No file editing. you cannot use mods that: Control the craft add parts edit physics *Note that mods that increase aesthetics or performance are fine. Would it be possible to use this mod to play KSP from separate views of the one ship? As in, having 2 people playing the game from a different computer/Monitor, controlling different parts of the mission such as a Landing Pilot and a command module pilot? I am hoping to simulate an Apollo Mission with two of my friends, and need to be able to control the same ship from different views. Thank you.

I have built my plane based on one principle: if it doesn't go to space, cheat. Fortunately, it did go to space the 'first' time, and i have definitely not cheated in any way at all, not even just a subtle use of gravity hacks. no cheats what so ever* As you can see, my plane made it to a PE of above 70,000m. [Note] i did not complete the manoeuvre, as oxidizer was very low. Unfortunately, i could note achieve a landing at KSC, because Bill wanted to land in the sand, and Jebediah refused. Bill proceeded to hack the fuel gauge into making it seem like liquid fuel was running low. As a consequence, we had to glide into the desert with 'zero' fuel. *However, Lets just say I'm a fan of the offset tool. *i will happily take a gate crashes award if you don't believe me. - - - Updated - - - You press the button to the right of the photo button, and paste the link of the embed link on your video. to find the embed link, press the share button on your video page, and copy the link. Potato Industries has unveiled it's new plane: The Hypertato. The Hypertato is capable of reaching speeds above Mach 6, however it's safer to fly at Mach 5 (1,701 m/s). This high speed jet cruises at an altitude between 15,000 and 30,000 m/s. Flight Instructions: 1. Take off and turn to face your desired direction 2. Pitch up to 30 Degrees at full throttle 3. at 15,000 Meters, level out 4. As you approach hypersonic speed, gradually throttle down so that when you reach 1,701 m/s, you are at half throttle. 5. Adjust Throttle when necessary 6. Profit! Warning, the first fuel tank is set to not feed fuel to the engines, transfer fuel from this tank to the middle tank if your middle tank is dry. The Hypertato is capable of circumnavigating Kerbin, in less than 50 minutes. And it could possibly reach space, but since there are only jet engines, you will not be orbiting today!
