    KSP 2.0 why we need it and what it needs

    I believe that, by far, the most important addition to KSP 2 would be a dedicated preparatory mod creation team. As it stands, a large portion of the appeal of the original KSP stems from the way in which it manages to integrate a stock game experience with one of the largest mod communities in the world (that I have seen). Though KSP 2 is a heavily altered game with multiple new features, it will still exhibit the same mod syndrome that the original KSP always had, a syndrome that is admittedly crucial for the continued relevance of the game series. My proposition is as follows: assemble a team of mod creators and preemptively redevelop a series of large, expansive KSP 1 mods to support KSP 2, before the release of the latter. This will serve as a gateway into KSP 2 for the KSP 1 playerbase.

    I state this with the understanding that my proposition is hypocritical, as I have little programming experience and therefore cannot be a mod creator myself.

    A question on realism overhaul and crew cabins

    I recently installed Realism Overhaul on my device, using KSP version 1.4.5. Everything seems to work out well, but my problem lies in the material. Not only does this version of KSP no longer support the large stock crew module, but all other goto mods (tantares, SSTU, et al) also completely lack support for crew cabins. This leaves me unable to perform manned missions in Realism Overhaul, and as a result I would like to question whether it is possible at all to obtain a multi-crew capsule fit for RO.

    @SpannerMonkey(smce) you pretty much floored me with the massive missile and launcher pack that I just found out about today on this forum.

    Now that modders seem to be dispensing extremely complicated weaponry with relative speed, and in extremely copious quantities, I believe it is the correct time to question where you get the information for these complex pieces of technology, and just how much realism to you intend to put into them: do you perform extensive research on every missile you create, do you simply take an educated guess on the performance specs, or do you merely use the physics models of other missiles? Note that I respect and seriously like your work on KSP, and am in no way trying to insult you. I just never thought about this question before.

    It's a great day outside. You wake up, feel the yellow sun warming your skin as you leave the bed, and proceed downstairs to have dinner. After having your share of fried egg, you leave the house and go outside. You jog. You think. You think about - well - anything that comes to mind really. You wonder if you really have something to do today, and are somewhat in disbelief that, for once, you have a day in which you are free of work. You let all burdens leave your shoulders. You lean a bit on the philosophical side, and absentmindedly ponder your existence with the average questions. "Is free will an illusion?" "Is the meaning of life same for both humans and other animals?" "Why do we dream?" "How did we get here..." how did I get here?

    You look around. Is this really your neighborhood you are jogging through? You see every detail on every house is as you remembered it, but how can you be so sure? Do you really pay that much attention to your surroundings? You stop jogging. You orient yourself. Everything is far too warm, far too bright. The paint on each house seems to be vivid, far to vivid for this to be your neighborhood. It's just... not supposed to be like this! Where are all the people? Where are the cars?
