  1. Construction time could be interesting, whether for off kerbin bases or KSC or both
  2. Those are some pretty large scatters if that's what they are. I would be happy if that was how they are done in game-play but I am not sure that we will have this based on current footage and dev comments. @Snark I hope these features are extremely large scatters as you guess. If not, I would be a little disappointed as I am not sure how they would have the overhangs shown in the trailer. Not a deal breaker, and I am still very excited about this game. This might be a good question for the developers. I don't trust that just because the terrain appears a certain way in the trailer it will be the same in game. For example the devs have been noncommittal on the question of clouds even though those were featured in the trailer.
  3. This is probably the most disappointing thing about new terrain. All those overhanging cliffs in the trailer looked great!
  4. You should be able to get it from Mun. It would be kinda lame if the only place to practically build/launch interstellar craft was around jool.
  5. There are only a few places I actually can identify on non-kerbin bodies. Dres Canyon, Mun Canyon, Mohole, and that's it.

  8. 1. Will there be new planets/moons orbiting kerbol/sun (saturn/uranus/neptune analogues)? 2. Will there still be a sandbox mode with everything unlocked? 3. Will colonies always be under player control or will they do things on their own? 4. Any types of automation?

  11. It should be similar to the auto function used in space engine, where the stars are not visible while looking at a bright object i.e. planet, but the sky-box brightens if you don't have a bright object on screen.
  12. Minmus is one of the best places for a base because it will have resources + very low gravity
  13. Sounds like a good idea for a dlc down the road
