  1. Final testing of a Laythe-atmosphere SSTO (I will tug it there, not what you mean...). It can SSTO Kerbin with less wings on top, so i assume that it can fly on Laythe, i don`t use Hyperedit, maybe its more a guess then...
  2. Please respect the perspective of people that actually are not former cold war enemies of the former russian administration. You might be wrong. I might be wrong. They might be wrong. We might be wrong. Who is not wrong? Let us stop believing for our own sake. Besides, there was an administration once on this planet that made use of nuclear weapons against civilians, twice. Was it wrong? Please do not answer, there is no answer, nowhere, never. Friendly greetings from Skandinavia
  3. Very cool read, i like the "whackjobian cathedrals", cool as hell! Also great crafts, kind of thing i use to make somehow...! greetings Mikki, my rep for U
  4. Hi Chano I cannot answer all your questions but in the upper right you can find an advanced search option, make sure to read the newest posts (KSP version 1.0.4 at least...) to your questions about the gameplay issues, or how to do specific tasks properly... Discovering orbital mechanics in KSP is a quiet long journey of trys and fails, i hope you have enough patience to experience it by yourself, you can allways search the forums for appropriate answers that fit your needs! Happy landings...! Strap a parachute, or two to your vessel!
  5. Hi there my interest are mainly TWR, deltaVee, cookies, icecream, LF, hitting spacebar, fooling around in the VHB/ SPH, landing on tarmac , moar thrust, drilling that ore tho, Kuzzters Powerpointing, and the funny things i find in these forums! And i consider me gentle. I use to post some crazy whackjobian crafts which are on the border of ... lunacy... or... münacy?
  6. Also all keyboard here... But having a sticksupport would be real nice to have, could be more accurate to land our crazy crates...
  7. People who play KSP appear to have slightly different values than the bulk of "mainstream playing for entertainment" videogame consumers. Maybe its the constructive and strategic challenge that makes this game convenient for the "others". Its more like work than playing... . But very funny work i must admit. 10/10. Its definetly one of the three priceworthiest pieces of software i know in my life, in my opinion a true highlight in gamehistory. And it has a educational value instead of blind violence and utter fantasy as such in other software available, great work SQUAD!
  8. ... i did more orbital assembly on my interplanetary kerbal partybo... errm sience vessel... and launched more even more equipment... if it starts to lag too much i will weld it to lesser parts with UBIOZURs welding Mod... I have build a lander in two reusable stages which can land and get off again nearly everywhere, except Eve... and Jool
  9. Hi there Rare White Ape! You just nailed it in your post, i wish to you a good time with KSP, and us who actually play it! ...Yess... one of us!... We have a rare white ape in our community!!! YAY!
  10. OMG! And i allways thought symmetry x4 is evil... NoooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
  11. Hi steuben However, to reduce partcount i suggest "STOCK FUEL SWITCH" Mod, make any tank LF only (for the nuke engines...), gives you more freedom in your interplanetary vessel designs. Actually i use KJR too, no way around it with large assemblys. The amount of struts (draggy) can also be massively improved with KJR. Good luck with going AWESOME!
  12. I would like the hatch beeing moved upwards behind the windows on top... its a good capsule, but i refuse to use it because of this. And its way to heavy iirc... 2.5 tons would be a rather "reasonable" from my view. Its to difficult to use properly in some cases.
  13. Some of you may know Walt Disneys "Mickey Mouse" Comics, well here in finland he is named "Mikki Hiiri"... Many people call me sometimes Mikki, its quiet close to my RL name. And i like cats as well...
  14. Make sure that one of your engineers is able to fix the broken wheels, when it comes to a serious mission... No matter how cautios you are driving, something will break sooner or later... This truck is able to land/ ascend by itself on smaller celestial bodys (Monoprop engines), i suggest to make rovers with a lower CoM, but not in this case:
  15. Orbital assembly of my Dresteroids/ Eeloo Icecream/ elcano campaign... Doodock unloaded an RCS tug and grabbed a asteroid "Claw`n`drill" for the interplanetary transfervessel, named "CEOs Heartattack" (Construction name until missionstart however...) . The SSTO is a drone, i stopped letting kerbals piloting, they tend to horribly overshoot the descent from orbit... and in any case, loosing my kerbals due to lacking tarmac is not an option anymore, i love the greenheads to much... I have revised all components of this mission regarding the partcount... this is gonna be an epic journey!
  16. 2x AMD Radeon R9 290, one is asleep mostly . Earlyer i had lots of Nvidia, i gave AMD a chance... I really never had a issue with AMD so far, driverupdates are very good in my opinion.
  17. What a wonderfull tell... a little tear starts dropping off my right eye... Greetings to all Whackjobian worshippers... successful explosions to all of you!
  18. Hi steuben This is something that makes my liquid cooled i7 4770 4-core CPU slightly boil: My system can handle about 450 parts without lag, 550 still good playable, 700+ parts start attracting various krakenattacks, namely out-of-warp insta-whobble/ unplanned disassembly/ random explosions/ bending/ non responsive UI. I keep limiting myself to "reasonable" 500 parts for a interplanetary assembly, no way around in 32-bit. I wait for a 64-bit release, however. In my system launching a 1000+ part 3000+ tonne vessel results in immediate CTD...... (Windows 10)
  19. Launched a new interplanetary ship, a truely kerbal vessel: (Space Shuttle Engines Mod, Atomic Age Mod... ) ...and Bob watched a eclipse
  20. ...and launched a refurbished type of orelifter, here with a new mobile drillrig docked to the ridicilous big fuelrefinery ...
  21. I launched a ridicilous big Fuelstation /refinery: with Porkjets Nuclear Lightbulb engine...
  22. Hi Mister Porkjet! Your mod is great, after some "heating" problems i finally managed to get the incredible Nuclear Lightbulb Engine working, i had to use the large stock extendable radiators, because the radiators in this mod seemed not efficient enough... or am i wrong? I made a big "Orbital Fuelstation" in Minmus orbit: This is how it should work i think, the vessel is stable around 66% critical thermal state (KER readout) at full power, "unlimited" burntime... Is there any other way to cool it down with lesser/ smaller parts? My Rep for you! I would like to see this in Stock Game!!!
  23. Hi OP I grabbed a older Pic from 1.0, still works fine. You can see the crew is fine in this space shuttle! I solved the problem of the moving CoM with attaching the fuelline inline with the average CoT line (Mammoth engine, somewhere under the LFO tank behind the MK3 Commandcockpit)... no need for much SAS or Vernorspam... This Shuttle had 2x3 Kickbacks attached at takeoff. Orbital Manouvering with the smaller engines attached to the Mammoth, inline with Shuttle CoM alone. Stockparts, no big deal to manage, takes some time nevertheless. Making this was one of my best KSP experiences Oh, this shuttle moves slightly sideways after takeoff, but its allways pointing radial to the surface... making Gravity turn like a rocket, throttlecontrol to keep stable heading.
  24. I build SSTO`s occasionaly, i am waiting for 2.5 m Stock Turboramjet/ R.A.P.I.E.R.s, until then Nertea`s Mk4 Parts fill the gap for me.
