HC-Strato Mk II -- Cute little VTOL/Drone!
ghostbuzzer7 replied to ghostbuzzer7's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
I ditched the whole landing gear for this craft, so its a must to go under 6 meters per second when landing. Through all the testing and crashes, the kerbal survives almost all the time because everything else explodes.... leaving you with the kerbal. Roll cage confirms work done. -

Can I be any more oblivious to something as simple as that. Fixed OP. Let this be a learning lesson. -
HC-Strato Mk II -- Cute little VTOL/Drone!
ghostbuzzer7 replied to ghostbuzzer7's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Thanks, I've decided to do photo editing on all my craft releases.... though I am a bit bother by IPS4's auto embedding and such. I have yet to learn the new way of doing videos... its no longer the video and /video trick... anyone know? -
HC-Strato Mk. II For those who know, lately I have been inactive in both ksp and on the forums, particularly just checking in every few days. This week, I decided to give the game another go, made a couple good crafts and one of them just so happened to be a little tiny VTOL... so small I call it a drone! Packed with two Juno engines and weighing in just over 3.3 tons, this VTOL has a TWR of around 1.3 however, it's not all that bad as it sounds. It accelerates at 3.75 m/s vertically, that being said, you can recover from a fall fairly easily, as long as your engine is reaching it's thrust cap between 15 - 20 Kn per engine. *There is enough SAS to make slight or life-threatening adjustments in a fraction of a second. All of this in a tiny package, ready for flight! Picture Album: Also, you can check out this video in which showcases the VTOL's mobility as well! This new system forum.... still getting used to this.... Download yours today! DOWNLOAD!!! *SAS is reccomened to be used especially for beginning VTOL pilots and even for experience. Failure to do say may be Kerbal threatening. All rights reserved (c) 2016.

Working on a "herrichopter" called the KH-1 Super Bird (Not a replica...) It has two vtol engines and two engines to help it move horizontally. Maneuverability is good, you can also do some cool stunts with this since it is in fact..... stock! -

Ahh the good ole' star wars episode VII got me doing this now. And then I've made a p-38 E plane from war thunder. Lastly, the hydroboats that they use for racing... -
No unfortunately, its the old man over here. Can I get Starwhip to get over here?
-
One does not simply fly without wing surfaces. At least you have wings for yaw authority It looks like a person flying in a superman position.... kind of..... may'be not.... bad idea..... Any how using only SAS to pitch up makes this plane have to plan its turns and manuevers way in advance. Such technology does not exist in the land of Kerbals.

MORK & MINDY - Ultralight Dropships
ghostbuzzer7 replied to Cupcake...'s topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Mind if you teach me how you fly so good? Unless of course the final cut was made from 30 failed attempts but in all your video's I've seen you've nearly scraped the surface -

Banned for thinking your account wasn't going to make the "GREAT FORUM MIGRATION OF 2015".... since no accs were going to get removed unless they were spambots spamming banbots, and banbots banning spambots

Guys Guys, all you need to do is spam RCS until you surpass the TWR of 1.00.. Though I ask is hyperedit allowed since after all you want us to start at an orbit of 90km. Just asking, Since you know sending a payload to 90km only to do a challenge can be quite redundant if done consecutive times

That blender GIF though... Hope you have fun. The Mun takes lots of patience.
