For Questions That Don't Merit Their Own Thread
Mad Rocket Scientist replied to Skyler4856's topic in Science & Spaceflight
For the function f(x) = 0 What is f(1/0)? The input is undefined, but x is never evaluated in the function. EDIT: I'm fairly confident that g(1/0) is undefined for g(x) = 0x, but is this different? -

Thread to complain bout stuff
Mad Rocket Scientist replied to Spacetraindriver's topic in The Lounge
I agree that one of the reasons social media is a large industry is because of this, but I think that the inventors most likely had good intentions. For one thing, I doubt anyone could have predicted facebook would be so valuable when it was invented. -

Squad: We made a rocketship game with fuel tanks that look like sheet metal tanks. Everyone else: That's so unrealistic! These shiny spaceplane parts look so much better! Squad: OK, we'll revamp the old parts. SpaceX: LOL -
Ask the Mods questions about the Forums!
Mad Rocket Scientist replied to Dman979's topic in Kerbal Network
I suggest creating a custom activity stream, with Content Types set to Topics, then clicking the gear icon next to that checkbox and selecting all forums except forum games, assuming that's where the problem thread is. It does not show likes or status updates though, and it shows the thread title with an option to jump to the first unread rather than the posts themselves. 14 (-) : ) -

Well, hexagons can tile around a cylinder easily enough, but I'm not sure what they'll do for the curved nose. I've heard that you can do some things with pentagons and hexagons together to approximate curved surfaces.
