1. The most important part, if you ask me. Now new players have a resource to see the stats of all the parts in one big list. This is really great! I was bothering, because the wiki helped me, when I started playing. This is great to see. Also the dV-Map is updated. And I just figured out I need 3400 m/s for Kerbin, not 3200. Explains why it was so hard to make orbit lately...
2.
As for your second question the answer is definitely yes.
This would be great! I'd totally start a new thread there :)
3.
I can't tell you how many times I've seen it. "I wasn't breaking the [insert rule here], I was just in character!" Roleplay is a headache.
Well, this is like "it wasn't me, my account was hacked". The correct answer is: Your account broke the rules, deal with it. But, I get it, I'll loose my thread. And the spacecraft exchange is not a place to put it up again. It's an exchange, I don't want that part, it is too much hassle.
4.
Rocket Builders is a place that actually breaks our community rules constantly, in particular the 'thou shallt not roleplay' rule. You're still welcome to offer the craft you make, or even take requests in the Spacecraft Exchange forum though, the only thing that will change is the 'company' part of it, with the employee/director/ceo roles and inter-company drama that comes with it.
Uhm, I may be to new here, to know the answer to this question. But why not extend the rules to "you may roleplay, but only in the rocketbuilders forum and in a thread and it has to be marked as roleplay" instead of taking away that particular forum? I just started a thread there to keep pictures of my achievments...
5.
To keep the crossfeed rules as they were before, rocket engines still don't (BY DEFAULT) draw via surface attach links.
I get this, because it'd make fuel lines mostly obsolete and the science tree would need rebalancing, because they come pretty late. But at first I was pretty confused that the "crossfeed" button did nothing on radial decouplers, but worked for inline decouplers.
6. Hi, can anybody tell me how crossfeed works in detail? I've tried the following and found:

External tank on radial decoupler, jet engine on plane. External tank gets emptied, before internal. This is as expected.
External tank on radial decoupler, rocket engine on plane. External tank doesn't get touched. Hm, as expected. The crossfeed button does nothing -> Confusing.
In line: Rocket engine, tank, decouple, rocket engine, tank, cockpit. Not an unusual design. If I enable crossfeed on the inline decoupler, then I can draw fuel through the rocket engine to the other stage. -> Very, very confusing.
Is this all intended? Thank you!
7. Yeah, well, there's right now a server migration running, right? I think I saw something on Twitter about it. I guess after this is done, we should start nagging. The Wiki is important!
8. Aaaaand I don't want a game to submit anything over the internet without my permission.
9. Hello sedativechunk, you are not alone with this feeling. I completed going to all moons and planets yesterday with my marathon of probes. And now I'm empty. After finishing exploring everything I expected to get a note "you've done it all" or a contract to explore something special, but nothing happens. I've got over 1000 hours in game. I built bases, stations, SSTO space planes, pushed asteroids, pulled asteroids, threw things back at Kerbin, made cars, trucks, a quadroengine thing with kOS which stays up just by controlling the engines and much more. I have the feeling that there is not much to explore left. And exploration takes time, too much for me right now. (Have a look here, I've written about it) What makes me wanna stop playing also the little things. The lack of polishing, an empty Kerbin, the stuttering when flying my 100 parts rocket up through the atmosphere and seeing the heat effects kick in. I have to rely on MechJeb for all bigger projects, because otherwise its uncontrollable. Kerbin lacks roads, bridges, settlements, quarries. SpaceStations and Bases lack a reason for existance, even though this shall change, I still can deny the contracts and do it without. A game has to be rewarding. First time making an orbit all alone, this is rewarding. First time docking in space without Navyfishs docking alignment mod: It is rewarding! But after that it becomes annoying. I remember my first landing on the moon. That was a really good feeling! But since then it's all been the same. I always wanted to make a craft that can get back from Eve to orbit. But it's just too hard for me and I lost interest, all the testing, all the failures and then the bad performance, it took the fun out of it. And I don't get what ion engines are for now. It takes much too long for a dV change with them, not fun for me. The Nerfs aren't as good either. Ever did a 5 minutes burn? Boring, very. This is not about KSP or Squad at all. I still love this game. It taught me so much about space, space exploration and travel I would have never learnt this on my own. I love showing it to other people, showing them how a rocket works and watching them making their first orbit and to see them having the same rewarding feeling afterwards. For now I'll let it rest. I will test the new parts. I really love building planes. And now that I've got my own point of interest (a landed asteroid) on Kerbin I will fly over and "analyse" it with a rover. But I think I'll let it sit until 1.1. I love planes, but I also love cars and cars will be better in 1.1, not in 1.0.5. And maybe a good multiplayer will get me back. I love the idea of playing with others and learning from them.
10. It was a pretty long day, ehm, decade at my Space Center... I visited Moho, Dres and Eeloo today. I'm not sure what was the toughest one. I always had to bring >2500 m/s dV for an orbit around them. Am I doing it wrong? This was to finish all the "Explore X" contracts that were left, since I've never been there before. And now I'm a bit depressed, since that's it. Sure I can visit the Mohole but not with the stock engines. The transfers took long. For Eeloo over two years in game. And timewarp is not fast enough to make it a pleasent ride, you actually can feel how long it takes to get there. This made me think a bit about human space exploration. Space is big, really, really big. And empty as well. Either you can travel very fast or you're going to be years and years stuck in a tiny capsule with not much to do to get to other planets. New Horizons took around 9 years to reach Pluto and it was a fly by mission, not the kind you you would do if you want to get to an orbit. So, if we going to explore space, we need much faster ways to do so. I, for myself, will now use Hyperedit to get into orbits or use a Alcubiere drive mod... it's a game after all. Oh, btw: Are there any other non-procederal missions after I visited Eeloo and is there a list somewhere?
11. Thank you 5thHorseman for writting this down. A smaller ISRU feels kind of wrong. A refinery is usually a big piece of machinery it should be bulky. But this will make designs easier or possible at all. Like Mk2 spaceplans which can go almost everywhere. And I see that the Mk1-2 Command Pod is still not rotated correctly ;P
12. Today I tried to deorbit my station by hitting it directly with an asteroid I catched. Due to a bug it was mined dry, even though I switched everything off, when I left it floating. The asteroid, the station, 300 m/s speed difference. Didn't hit it... But somehow it disintegrated anyway: (Have a look at all the tiny bits flying around. You may have look very close, 300 m/s is pretty fast. And then: The Krakening! Well, it survived reentry and landed in the desert. So Space Command took their best crew and sent them with their fastest jet to the desert, to investigate: This thing is huge. (But weights only 70t.)
13. Hey, there's a whole Wikipedia article about this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyrotechnic_fastener Also some fairings use springs to separate from the rocket.
14. Today I caught the asteroid which got magically stuck in an orbit around Kerbin. Not I'm going to make a refueling station out of it and a base to start my Jool missions.
15. Today I made my first LFO-only space plane. I think it still needs some tuning, burnt a lot of fuel in the atmosphere. Getting 2000 m/s fast below 50 km makes a great show though. - - - Updated - - - This screams for some more reputation. But the system wont let me. And it gave me a great idea... really great.
16. Those engines. I want to eat them. Eat them now! Uhhhu!
17. Depends. If you look at the NASA videos from their Aerospike tests, they do gimbal the whole engine.
18. But to brake in the atmosphere, it would have needed focus. So it's really just an asteroid which got somehow caught in an orbit. But I promise you, I'll catch it and I'll mine it dry. A class D asteroid, so much fuel and for free!
19. ...is it bad, doctor? And I wondered what that object was floating around Kerbin, when I was on my way to Gilly...
20. This is a follow up to http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/29533-What-did-you-do-in-KSP-today?p=2237395&viewfull=1#post2237395 I finally found the time for the Gilly mission. After I finished assembling my ship in orbit I had 5000 m/s to spend and if you go very fast to Eve and don't want to aerobrake you need pretty much of it. But with some fiddeling I got a good elliptical Eve orbit and soon after this (just 9 in-game days) a good Gilly encounter. I didn't do many screenshots, just wanted to finish the contracts I had for Gilly. And since I'm getting a bit bored of KSP (don't know why), the next missions will all be fire-and-forget probes... In the last post I showed you my SSTO. It still flies pretty well. Docking on the dark side of Kerbin. Thanks to NavyFish an easy task. Aaaaaaand docked. Lights out, undock, and off we go. The space plane stays in orbit as shuttle to go back down again. And now someone (as in Jebediah) put the camera inside the sleeping quarters and since we all know that Kerbals don't sleep nobody could find them there. I have no idea why they have sleeping quarters anyway. Well, after eating too much snacks Jebediah had the brilliant idea to take a nap and found it. But this was already in the orbit of Gilly. I mean it's a great idea to take a nap while landing on Gilly. The gravitation there is so low, you can really sleep all the way down and still land safely. And that's it. SomeONE (again Jebediah) left the camera on Gilly. It will be replaced, not retrieved. Space Center Command doesn't do such missions, they fear they will have to retrieve all the monkey wrechnes and rubber ducks from Kerbin orbit if they ever start. What shall I do with the space ship afterwards? I'm not sure if throwing in Kerbins atmosphere and watch it burn is a good idea...
21. Yesterday I started adding the boosters to my space station ship thingy and today I finished it. It's a bit terrifying... The finished station thing... And then I needed a way to deliver the crew to the station... and I came up with this. Flies really great though. The mission to Gilly has not yet started, maybe tomorrow there's enough time.
22. A while back I decided that it's time to stop horsing around and go to Gilly. And since I've got a lot of contracts to fullfil there I needed a big ship. And since this game is about crafting, I decided to do somewith incredible, again. I'm building the craft in orbit, but not the usual way. First I sent the "station" part of the craft, it has an ISRU to be able to get back. Not sure if needed, but nice too have. Maybe I'll send it to Jool afterwards and then I'll definitely need it. Today I sent the first engine part. The overall craft will have four of those boosters. Each one takes up to 30 minutes to get into orbit and dock. Looks it'll take some more time until I can leave Kerbin...
23. Well, this time it's true. The recent radeon-Kernel driver plus the recent mesa driver support OpenGl 4.2 now and they are heading for Vulcan support. Though OpenGl 4.5 support has to come first, but if they keep their pace they may get this done this year.
24. The problem with the structural panels is that they produce a lot of drag. This is not really realistic, but what is... Someone should write a particle simulator and run drag and lift simulations for all the parts
25. Is this safe? Totally! Then we need MORE POWER! Whoops.
