  1. I've heard that there are interface customization options that are in Win 10 Pro that aren't in Win 10 Home. Is that true? I'm looking to get my free upgrade from Win 7 Home Premium but I want the max amount of customization available.
  2. Probably not the first game I played, but I have faint memories of playing Double Dragon game watch :

    Poly Bridge

Sipsy has done a long LP series of Poly Bridge, if you're interested in watching him screw up over and over - (full uncut series on sips live channel)
  4. Thanks for turning me on to Pale Moon. I tried it on a lark and I find it quite good!
  5. Not bad, but a bit too Canadian at times for my tastes. Silly Canadians.
  6. It doesn't have sheisty Google analytics collection baked in, so I would say it's very preferable to Chrome. A good comparison : http://www.howtogeek.com/202825/what%E2%80%99s-the-difference-between-chromium-and-chrome/
  7. Chromium Mac build - http://www.freesmug.org/chromium Windows build - http://chromium.woolyss.com/
  8. It's worth buying for the various great total conversion mods.
  9. I second the Spiderweb RPGs, especially the Avernum series - they have a great pedigree stretching back to the 90s. The Windows versions can be run fairly easily on Linux through WINE.
  10. My new games this time (in chronological order) - Commandos: Beyond the Call of Duty Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 Command & Conquer: Tiberium Wars Command & Conquer: Kane's Wrath Prison Architect Standard World in Conflict: Complete Majesty Gold Edition Dungeon Siege Wickland Banished Age of Empires II: HD Edition total spent - $39.14 current Steam library size - 200 games I was tempted by so many more to fill in the gaps in my game library but I stuck to my budget. My wishlist will have to remain huge for the time being. Oh the pitfalls of being PC master race. :\
  11. Basically, this was the game that was never supposed to happen. This is like a Half Life 3 moment for Sega fans. I'm still a bit lightheaded over the announcement, no exaggeration! Imagine feeling this since 2001:
  12. No, that thread title is not a lie, this is real. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ysnet/shenmue-3/ I laughed. I cried. Shut up and take my money, Suzuki-sama! :D:D:D:D:D - - - Updated - - - The passion is real. The hype is real. 1.4 million raised in 5 hours and counting. 14 long years . . we did it, folks.
  13. I'm not quite so confident that the offerings on Steam have a finite lifespan, necessarily. If Steam ever changes, I see it being sold or transferred to another company, and in that case, the terms might change for better or worse, but the game catalog remains. Also, Gaben has made statements in the past to the effect that if Steam ever ended, they would take steps to make the games playable offline, so that might be a possibility as well. I'm not saying it's not possible that Steam might go belly up one day and leave us all in the lurch, but it's not a forgone conclusion either. - - - Updated - - - Another thought, there is also the possibility of Valve doing away with their current DRM scheme and making offline copies playable as part of their business strategy. Apple did it with iTunes. It's possible Valve might eventually make that decision to better compete with their DRM-free competitors like GoG.
  14. Just bought Wickland, Dungeon Siege, Majesty Gold HD and World in Conflict! LORD GABEN WHY DO YOU TORTURE ME SO???
  15. I had to splurge on the Command & Conquer titles, those and Prison Architect. $20 spent and only the second day oh Gaben please have mercy on me . .
  16. I'm pretty tempted by Prison Architect right about now.
  17. WHAT ARE YOU GETTING THIS TIME?

    iOS 9

It will probably run like molasses on a winter's day on my iPhone 4S, so I'll be sticking with jailbroken iOS 7.
  19. I run a MC server on a Raspberry Pi in my basement.
