I am going to go make french toast for breakfast right now as a protest to the injustice of the current state of the poll.

What's even better than french toast? French toast and breakfast sausage!

Forum Veterans [And New Members!]: What was your first post?
segaprophet replied to Starwhip's topic in Welcome Aboard
My first post is my company thread, started on 1/16/2012. Still edited and updated today. I saw KurtJMac playing KSP 0.13, got jazzed, immediately bought KSP (which cost $10 at the time) and started exploring. -
my most wanted this year : Divinity Original Sin Wolfenstein The New Order Dark Souls II ARMA 3 Total War Rome II Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth Ultimate General Gettysburg Gods Will Be Watching The Vanishing of Ethan Carter The Long Dark

SING IT! I'm ready Lord GabeN!

When I was building my PC, I built it around the ability to crush two specific games, ARMA 2 and ARMA 3. Knowing that these games eat CPU cycles like crazy, I had to spring for Core i5 3570K to give myself a lot of overhead. Most games are not that CPU intensive, however. Most games will work very well with a better than average, newish (~2 years or less) GPU and a bog standard average multicore CPU (although single threaded performance is something to pay attention to for games).

Yeah go with at least Radeon R9 270, anything cheaper is not worth your time. On the Nvidia side, I can't tell you because I don't give a crap about Nvidia. (yes, I'm a Radeon fanboy because I gotta keep up my Radeon cred, been using ATI/AMD graphics for 17 years and counting)
-
I might also mention that an AMD APU + GPU Crossfire combination is a cheap way to get good graphics performance - if you motherboard supports it. OP never said whether they were using AMD or Intel, I might add.

You're not talking about corn syrup with some bullsh*t artificial flavoring in it, are you?
-
French toast, no contest. IT'S DRENCHED IN EGG FOR GOSHSAKES. Delicious with real maple syrup.

Has anyone mentioned this deathtrap yet? Messerschmitt Me 163 Komet An aerodynamically guided rocket with a cockpit. Launched via a detachable undercarriage. 31,000 feet per minute climb rate. Had a nasty habit of exploding upon landing.
-
I can't say what I really think due to the board rules on political posts...but needless to say, yes, I disapprove strongly.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Everything in its own time, my friend. Of course, American engineers are a breed apart.
-
Messerschmitt Bf 110 Heavy fighter, night fighter, fighter-bomber. All around "johnny-on-the-spot" for Hermann Göring's Luftwaffe.

Ways to convince people that the Moon landings were real

Only one question for the conspiracy nuts - Are you calling Neil Armstrong a liar? -
I've used Chromium exclusively for a few years now - mostly because I was very enamoured with Google's vision for a browser when it was first announced (single process tabs, interface responsiveness, extensions) but I can do without the corporate snooping into my browsing history etc. I use Firefox as a secondary browser and I've used it as my main browser before switching to Chrome/Chromium. Before that Camino (Mac OS X exclusive, Gecko-based browser), before that Safari. I could go farther back, but it gets less and less relevant.
