  1. So I've been able to get to planets using this mod, and by letting myself "drift" away from the planet and burning back to periapsis, I can make it work. What's the best way to get to the outer planets without having to do this? There's really no way, is there?
  2. Perhaps the dev could build in a switch in the VAB that selects what the beacon is to be refueled by.
  3. I could have sworn used to have more pictures in the OP. Is this the same one with standalone warp drives, and beacons?
  4. Are any of these kerbin clones? I'm looking for a mod that adds a Kerbin like planet for colonization that wouldn't need "terraforming"
  5. The sample ships for the FTT phase II are funny. They have almost no delta V - certainly not even usable for moving ships between minmus and earth, not to mention anything planetary.
  6. Weird, cause I can totally see hotspots of Metal Ore from orbit now.
  7. How does the orbital mass part work? It launches deployed, with no options when you right click it. It's currently on its way to minmus, but I'm not sure it's actually doing anything. I'm thinking I'm going to have to use Kethane, and I'd really not like to have yet one more mod to deal with. EDIT: Looks like it does work, but the only place you see anything is in the orbit overview.

  12. Do you guys just have a nice tall ladder structure next to the pad, or do you just pile ladders on things? I guess I'm talking more about things build on Eve or Laythe. EDIT: Seems that I can transfer crew, but only before I release the ship. Should be easy to deal with.
  13. What is the best way to refuel rockets/board rockets when built with the stake system? Or, even the launchpad...
  14. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I've got the workshop, tons of rocket parts, yet when I put a stake down, it doesn't recognize it as a launchpad. Any suggestions?
  15. Doesn't seem to really be an end game kind of place to colonize, not at least like I meant it. I'm looking for literally a kerbin twin.
  16. Laythe might be able to be "terraformed" in theory, I suppose. I wish there was a terraforming mod.

  18. Everything is good, however, when you filter by manufacturer you can still see them. This is a great change though, really glad you did this.
  19. So the parts on current ships will still work, and saved ships, but they don't show up in the menu anymore, correct? If I use parts from the menu now, I should be fine?
