  1. Both. They both have their use and are quite different to build and fly.
  2. Worked on a De Havilland Vampire inspired plane for long range atmospheric flights. Easy and fun to fly.
  3. It may be a clipping problem. Antenna need free space to deploy and you got a strut very close to it. Since the 3 other are in the same configuration it should work but there is maybe a very tiny difference of position. I had a problem with a Mun lander and had to close the service compartment to use the antenna which was right under the doors level.
  4. I would like to have both options as stock, depending on the project I work on.
  5. Depend on what you use it for and what is your aim. It can be quite effective (depend on the ship design) and make orbital rendez-vous trivial if you use it as a robot. If you want to play manually it can provide a lot of interesting data (delta-V, apoapsis, periapsis, true altitude, vertical velocity etc) allowing to fine tune your ships and missions. MechJeb only remove challenge ... if you want it to.
  6. I do. I played near 1000 hours since 2013 I think. First flights on KSP 1.0 were quite messy but even if I used Mechjeb to define maneuvers a lot until now, I'm so used to maneuvers and procedures that I was able to get to Mun and back without patching conic (took quite a few tries because of delta V reading missing but since I played sandbox for so long, it was quite satisfying to get tihngs right without any assistance). It's true it feels like learning a lot again but it feels more natural than previous air model too. For now I'm getting to mun and back in career mode and the difficulty don't bother me (at least there IS a risk something may turn ugly) : getting smart solutions (or dumb ones) to technical problems is, for me, KSP's most fun part.
  7. She is still fine and was the first orbiting Mun
  8. Here is my first try. I aimed for a classic glider design, the result was quite slow but really easy to fly : Scoring : -No reaction wheels: +5 -Maximum Speed: +25 (26m/s) -Mass: +6 (2400kg) -Time: +5 (18'38") Alternative points : Amphibious award: +0 Two-legged award: +5 Stunt award: +0 Xeon Master: +3 (434 units of xenon used) GreenPower Elite: +10 Total : 59
  9. I'm trying to build a F302 stock replica from Stargate but it is quite hard to balance. Maybe v1.0 new parts will help (like fuel containing wings ...).
  10. Hello everybody, I have been playing KSP for nearly two years and reading these forums for a few months. I didn't took time to register so far because ... there are so many great posts to read here I never found anything to add but since lot of things will change very soon in the game, I thought it could be the time to do it. Fly safe ! P.S. : Sorry, my english is not the best.
