  1. Thanks:). The cockpit and tail are from the KAX pack Kerbal Aircraft Expansion (KAX) and the passenger fuselage section is from the FantomWorks KAX Part Pack.
  2. So heres something that might or might not interest you, its basically a Tupolev TU-154 replika that i made since its one of my personal favourite passenger aircrafts in terms of looks. After building this i tought to myself that this looks a bit too bland so why not give a go at creating some airline colours of my own (aka some stripes made out of firespitter biplane ailerons and letters made using landing skids). The aircraft itself feels and flyes very good, its responsive and provides a very smooth flight in good hands (you dont want a bunch of filled up barf-bags after the filght ). So here are some picks of TAL (Trans oceanic airlines or something like that) flight 0001 and the test flight. Some bit of test flying to see that the aircraft can be sertified for commercial use . After the testing was done and the aircraft type was cleared for service i tought that it might be a nice idea to fly to the island airfield and back . And here we are, Safely back home redying for another flight. Mods used: KAX, KAX expansion, B9, Procedual wings mod, firespitter and Flag Decals (v.2.3) So i hope you enjoyed this little aircraft of mine and i hope this has given ideas for you to maby try to make your own airline colours in the future . Here are some links to my other passenger aircraft projects: JU-52 replika:http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/136727-Junkers-JU-52-Iron-Annie K-1011 SST-Klipper: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/136520-Koeing-K-1011-SST-Klipper Some random planes:http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/136613-Some-noteworthy-passenger-planes-from-my-collection-%28747-707-AWACS-777ish-DC-9-ish-aircraft-etc%29
  3. So heres something special for our Kavro Lankaster K.mk.1 special, the Grand Slam. I just tried to make something like it but not replicate it 100% so you can say that its more of a kspfied version of it rather than a straight up replika. This is a bit more modern than the old Grand Slam from WW2, aka this on is a remote controlled bomb (probe core, sas, controlsurfaces). The bomb is loaded with six warheads and eight MK-82 bombs to give it some real punch, but i dont think this one has even nearly the same amount of destructive power as the 22000 LBS Grand Slam had witch is still the most heavyest ordinary (not atomic or hydrogen) bomb in history. here are some picks of it in action . So there you have it, a little dose of destruction to lighten/darken the day. Hope you enjoy . And i hope this gives you ideas on how to construct your own bombs, if you want to ofcourse.
  4. Just some Picks of my assault frigate i made witch i put in orbit using cheats (yes im lazy and and very bad when it comes to rocketry and SSTOs in general). This ship is currently armed with four oerlikon-millenium cannons and 2 howitzers. The ship only has a crew of four and a little hangar for maby a couple of small shuttle crafts. I didnt bother taking picks of the ship in orbit cuz of the darkness of space, when the hangar offers much better lighting to showcase the ship . So here are some picks of the ship. And yes the big sticks in the side of the ship are supposed to be the ships main charge laser cannons but cuz of ksp i had to use howitzers instead (in the nose next to the antennaes) and leave the main guns there just for show . And as i said i used cheats to get it to orbit since i built this ship for looks not so much to actually make it work. So i hope you enjoyed looking at this frigate that i made .
  5. The post has now been updated, download link, mods list and the bouncing bomb added .
  6. Thanks . Have to start developing a bouncing bomb for this then . - - - Updated - - - Bouncing bomb, mods list and download link coming up soon:wink:.
  7. This time i present to you the Wolfhound, my primary frontline multi role strikefighter that can prettymuch take on anything . the only way to explane that just how well this thing flyes you have to try it out yourself to find out. This aircraft is pretty much ready to intercept in less than a minute, aka just put the brakes on, let the engines power up for a moment, then just release the brakes and watch it take off in seconds . Its armed with two vulcans, four air to ground missiles and six air to air missiles, so no shortage of weapons (it could carry many more weapons but that would be a little crazy if you ask me). unfortunetly its a bit hard to aim the vulcans without the help of sas cause of its sharp controls. Here are some picks of it Hold it, hold it. And take off! And a quick turnaround later ready to intercept . So there you have it, the Wolfhound interceptor. Mods used: BD Armoury Download link:https://www.dropbox.com/s/527k6tu0p3dlf9g/KF-390%20Wolfhound%20%28flagless%29.craft?dl=0. (The aircraft supplied will be flagless) So i hope you enjoy this little aircraft of mine .
  8. Here is another historical aircraft for you. This time it the famous Avro Lancaster from WW2. I have to say that this build could have probably gone better but i still think it looks pretty good . The aircraft flyes like a jetfighter and takes off almost immedietly. Here are some picks of it. After peoples reguest i desided to give a shot at creating the bouncing bomb that was used to bomb german dams by first making it spin real fast and use that spinning of the sylindrical shaped bomb to make it bounce on top of the water till it hit the dam wall, sank and then exploded underwater cracking the dam wall and letting the force of the water do the rest . Unfortunetly my kspfied version of the bomb doesnt really work because everything else except for the intakes goes splash and desintegrates . Here are some picks of the "bomb" in action. Mods used: B9 Aerospace pack, Firespitter, Procedual wings mod. Download link:https://www.dropbox.com/s/ugrvmuqplvt28fl/Kavro%20Lankaster%20%28dambuster%29%28armed%29%28flagless%29.craft?dl=0. (aircraft supplied will be flagless). Oh and before i forget, i used one of those Revell 1:72 scale dambuster models that i built many years ago as reference for this build. So i hope you enjoy this little aircraft ive made, and as i said it could look better but i gave it my best shot .
  9. So here is something for the lovers of historical aircrafts, a JU-52 replika that i made witch is about a accurate as it can get (not bragging btw) . So here are some stats to compare. Real version: speed:58.61 m/s. lenght:18,9m. width:29,25m. height:4,5m. My version: speed:70 m/s. lenght:22,1m. width:31,7m. height:7.2m. So not too far off then now is it. It also flyes beautifully aka very responsive and very cabable altough very slow just like the real one. Here are some picks of it. And remember kids as it is with all taildragger aircrafts, dont brake too hard or you will roll over to your roof (I accidentaly broke off the nose engine while taking this screenshot) . And yes you could say im preety proud of this one . The mods you will need for this are: B9 aerospace pack, Firespitter pack and procedual wings mod. Download link:https://www.dropbox.com/s/tauz9r8xbkdlvnc/JU-52%20Iron%20Annie%20%28flagless%29.craft?dl=0. (the aircraft supplied will be flagless) So i hope you enjoy flying this golden peace of aviation history .
  10. Thanks . And yea thats what tends to happen when you use airframes that where developed about 50 to 60 years ago and stuff them up with hightech gizmos .
  11. Desided it would most probably be better if i put all these aircraft into one post since they are noething too special. So here are some passenger aircrafts from my personal collection . Here are some picks of them. So, first we have the Koeing-747 that flyes pretty well for its size . In order to make it fly as well as it does now i had to make the wings 3 layers thick . (The aircraft is fully stock) Here is the updated 1.0.5 version of the 747. Secondly we have the 707-AWACS, a radar/command aircraft modified from the 707 airliner for detecting aircrafts and ships and to direct airgroups to intercept. This aircraft flyes like it should, aka being able to do a loop de loop without stalling . And here we have my favourite of the bunch the KRJ-400, my personal transport witch looks like a DC-9ish aircraft but flyes like a well bred fighter-jet . It really is an amazing flyer and it looks pretty nice too even altough i had to add a second layer of wings to make it fly properly. I have done proper aerobatic manouvers with this and it also cabable of flying at mach1 speeds at low altitude. And here is the 737/777ish aircraft that flyes better than the 707 but not as well as the KRJ-400. There is really noething special about this but i tought that why the hell not, lets put this in here too . So here is another passenger aircraft turned in to a AWACS aircraft, the KT-5 skycleaner witch is my own custom design. Now this one feels and flyes like a real aircraft (well, a bit hard to say since ive never flown a 4 engined aircraft). And as a bonus i have for you the KRJ-400-400. This was a very simple and quick build but the aircraft does fly pretty much like a jet-fighter . So moving on with the AWACS category, i have for you the KC-212 Warning Star (one of my 3 early access survivors) that was the first AWACS aircraft used by the USAF that was a modified Lockheed Super-Constellation. So there you have it, a bunch of aircrafts from my collection that i desided to show to you guys. So i hope you enjoyed looking at these aircrafts . NOTE: This post will be updated regularily aka when i make more aircrafts of this category .
  12. Its one of the firespitter bi-plane wing wingtip parts.
  13. Desided it was about time for me to draw my self a custom flag of my favourite videogame character and i have to say it went suprisingly well. ofcource its far from perfect but i like it . wouldnt be suprised if i had another go at creating a custom Tails flag. And yes it is a little mushy (blame microsoft paint), and i would have wanted to make the original drawring A4 sized but, if i try to make it smaller it will turn in to a pixelated mess (again paint). My original i only about 10x6cm sized so yea. And yes its hand drawn.
  14. Well thats what ive been doing with most of my planes, i quess it just didnt come to mind when i was building this.
  15. Whoops, my bad . [Moderator removed defunct website link]. There you go .
  16. Koska miksikäs ei=cuz why not .
  17. I present to you another SR-71 Blackbird replica . I know i know there have been probably over a dozen of these aircrafts littered around the forum but i wanted to have a go myself. There really isnt much more to say about this exept that its the SR-71 (obviously), but i hope its still interesting . So here are a couple of picks of it. And there it is for you, another Blackbird. I hope you enjoyed it .
  18. Here is a little something for the aviation fans the Boeing SST-Clipper in ksp form. This build was just something that i tought might be a little more interesting/special than making another Concordeish replica, so i desided to choose this a little more unknown aircraft that was one of Boeings plans of entering in to the world of supersonic passenger transport. The real aircraft is very interesting in terms of its landing/flight mode aka when the aircraft is landing the nose gets folded down from two points (it gets folded down forward of the windshield and also the very tip of the nose gets folded up to avoid it from hitting the ground), also the wings fold out like you would see in an F-14 or the Panavia Tornado . The aircraft flyes suprisingly well but is a bit slow and sluggish when it comes to manouverability . Anyway, here are some picks of the aircraft. NOTE:the real aircraft did not have canards. For reference i used one of those Revell 50th anniversary kits of this aircraft that i built many years ago. Its not perfect but its close enough . Download link:https://www.dropbox.com/s/m8twhjjbbqape10/koeing%20SST%20Clipper.craft?dl=0 So there it is for you the Koeing SST-Klipper, i hope you enjoy it .
  19. So lets give this another go since my older post was a bit rubbish (bad pictures). Anyway enough about that lets get to buisness. I desided i wanted to create my own version of the tornado after my ok looking ok looking replika of the tornado 2.5 from Sonic-X that would look more modern and new but still blend in with style of the other bi-planes of the Tornado family. I have just fallen in love with it design and especially that how it flyes (not to brag myself), pretty much the perfect aerobatic aircraft . I also made a Transformed version of the aircraft since i felt it was a must, but turns out that the transformed version of the tornado is prettymuch uncontrollable, but it looks pretty good. NOTE:The flag that is pasted in the aircrafts is not made by me but by nintendrawer of Deviantart, and i love it . (and yes i am a huge tails fan) Link to the picture from witch the flag was made from: http://nintendrawer.deviantart.com/art/tails-sheet-151285410 So here are some picks of the aircrafts. The Tornado 5 Here is the transformed version. Didnt bother to take it to a flight because of how impossible it is to fly, plus it doesnt have landing gears. And finally here for a bonus we have the tornado 2.5. Here are links for the craft files excluding the transformed version NOTE: mods used: B9 aerospacepack, Firespitter, KAX https://www.dropbox.com/s/g69kx3k7lkf7vr2/Tornado%205%20%28flagless%29.craft?dl=0 (Flagless version) https://www.dropbox.com/s/t166nk07zpiw1ws/Tornado%202_5%20%28flagless%29.craft?dl=0 (flagless version) And there it is my good people, the Tornado 5. I hope you enjoyed it . Also if you want you can also check out my X-Tornado i made. Link:http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/136466-The-X-Tornado
