  1. Just for excrementss and giggles, try hitting control alt delete and bring up task manager, and leave it running while you're on KSP.... I was having FPS issues on all my game and that would fix it... NO CLUE WHY!!

  3. Im running 32GB out RAM and it still takes like 10-15 minutes to boot up KSP... OH WELL!!! It's worth the wait!!!

  5. I guess I could.... I just can't go back to the loading screen without it breaking the clouds and it takes about 20 minutes to restart KSP with all the mod I have installed
  6. Yeah I tried to restored my satellites.....with hyper edit.. And I couldn't Successfully place all my satellites at the same altitude cuz they would crash into each other.. even after I changed the position of the longitude of the ascending node.
  7. @StarCrusher96 IDEA: Would you add an (optional) "tilted" Kerbin? Tilted on an axis similar to Earth (23.5 degrees)
  8. I have the KerbinSide mod installed and I am launching from The Great EZ Kape. The latitude of the launch pad is around 21 degrees North (similar to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida). I am trying to perform a launch to the Mun similar to how Apollo did, however the inclinations are very different! What is the most fuel efficient way to launch to the Mun and get a "free return" trajectory back to Kerbin?
  9. Thanks, I was reading on page 65 where people are having exploding issues when landing... My problem is that the part's 3d models are distorted. I am also using KSP 1.3.0
  10. yea, I can terminate them and just throw them back up with...... hyper edit, was just concerned it might be a regular problem in the future... I'm pretty early on in a new career.
  11. I don't know if this is the appropriate thread to post my problem, but the problem arose while using Hyper Edit. I sent up a 3 communication satellites in a geo sync orbit of Kerbin. While I was flipping back and forth between comm sats, perfecting the positions with Hyper Edit, I noticed that the part models of 2 of those 3 satellites had warped and got distorted. I have tried restarting KSP and that didn't help. One of the 3 satellites is unaffected. My other satellites around the Mun and Kerbin are also unaffected.   13. Thanks for the reply, I have figured out the problem and realized that I am a very stupid individual. Two things: #1, it turns out that the KSC's tracking station has a range of only 30Mm. The other two tracking stations (from KerbinSide have a range of 80Gm so when my Mun sat has LOS to the KerbinSide tracking stations I DO have a connection. #2, My geo sats have only 4 Communotron 16s ... My bad. .... I thought they had eight for some stupid reason.
  14. While John007's dll helped me, the mmemgraph did not help with the garbage collection very well I followed instructions and it only brought my stuttering from every 40 seconds to 60 seconds... Well you please tell me exactly what you did to get yours down to every two minutes??
  15. The "Multiple Antenna Range Multiplier" in the RT settings is for stacking the antenna's ranges with multiple antennas. So one Communotron 16 with a 5Mm range will give you 5Mm. Having two antennas gives you a 10Mm range.. The multiplier works perfect in the SOI of Kerbin, and indeed I had Comms signal around the Mun. I sent up 3 Mun communications satellites around the Mun on one launch, and I separated the 3 and conducted a burn in order to decrease my Ap. That worked flawless. The no communications problem arose when I then switched to one of the other Mun Communication satellites in order to set it up for a burn. I'm placing them in a triangular pattern around the Mun, but It was then I saw there was no connection. There is no reason I shouldn't have a connection.... unless either, there is a bug, or I'm missing something.

I have the Antenna Range Multiplier set to 2 The Multiple Antenna Range Multiplier is set to 1 I have 8 Communotron 16's The range of each Communotron is 5Mm, so with 8 antennas My range should be 40Mm. The altitude of the Mun in my game is 34.684Mm My satellite's Ap of the Mun is 2Mm. I have 100% electrical charge There are 3 Tracking Stations on each 1/3 side of Kerbin (using KerbinSide) and they are working flawlessly There are 3 communication satellites in an equatorial geostationary orbit, each with an omni-directional range of 40Mm (8 Communotron 16s) Given the facts stated above, my satellite's furthest distance from Kerbin should be no more than 37Mm. I have line of site to both a tracking station and a communication sat around Kerbin. Why still no signal?
  17. Yes, I'm using ctt.... should I uninstall ctt, purchase the kss parts then reinstall ctt? Hope to see compatibility with CTT as that is a pretty common and essential mod.
  18. Hey! I don't see any of the KSS communication dishes anywhere in the tech tree. I'm pretty sure I went through every tech and didn't see any of them anywhere. How do I unlock KSS communication dishes?
  19. @nightingale I am having a problem with the contract "Communication Satellite for the Inner Planets". It says, "there must be an inner planet without coverage". I do not have any satellites in orbit possessing a dish with the range capable of reaching even Eve. Eve is currently at it's closest approach to Kerbin at about 3,500 Mm. The most powerful dish I have orbiting has only about a 160 Mm range. Thanks for any help
