The team made this a few weeks ago and took it for another test flight. It reached 1333 m/s at 75% throttle and maximum altitude of 40,000m,at which height the engines cut out and it was pretty much a glider,it gave its best performance at 20-30,000m,where it flew for 10 minutes without any input to the joystick (i walked out of the room and made a drink).

Finished off the fitting yard then built a launch vehicle and sent the pair on their way. The station was up and running in a few hours.

Built this for the boys on moon patrol. The Engineering department is getting this,the craft docked is a mock up of my new standard vessel, one of which could be totally dismantled and stored in the yard, and that is pretty much what is going to happen to Fitting yard 1 in a few days. Elsewhere the all female crew of a research vessel came very close to disaster after a night on the Lambrini.

With Bob stuck in the lander can and his sanity hanging in the balance the boys at home had to think fast, using a copy of his craft they designed a workshop and way-station. Bob arrives still stuck inside and no parachutes. The two engineers waste no time in dismantling the craft. With Bob safely back on Kerbin the first group of Students return from their exam flight and its time to return them home to collect their 3 star rating, while the next crew who came up in the multi can head out for their 100 day training course.

The ore miner,its now full,i landed it first time on the flats and extracted 4190 units which paid for its launch and made a 450,000 credit profit, i will probably scrap it and redesign another one due to the above event.

Instead of keeping the doppelgänger i have decided to take the loss of science on evas and return the original Bob to kerbin for psychiatric assessment,fortunately he was an in-transit passenger on this instrument only contract and does not need to leave the craft, i have an engineer and spare chutes on a nearby ore miner and will modify the lander for a conventional re-entry at Kerbin,the craft was destined to be the new power unit/utility-vehicle for the ore miner. Launch cost 329,764.

Finished building this (career mode). I saved some cash too. Mission one completed. Mission two was a partial failure,although a landing was made to test a new lander design. 400 science transmitted and a further 400 being processed in the on board lab.

I started my first ever career a few days ago ,its day 39 (kerbal time),i launched this at the moon empty with a number of jobs to do,plant a flag,transmit science and a rescue a kerbanuat. The rescue went well..a pilot with zero stupidity.. ..and a little later..the second Kerbal on the Mun.

Sent a lander to Moho,i built it to refuel a mother-ship in orbit (i crashed the first lander) ,it took 2 years to get there,sent it down without the crew first to test it,it landed perfectly,started kethane drills and set the converter to refuel..the mono started filling up and then to my horror i noticed the fuel tanks were not filling,i had gone back into the VAB just before launching and moved some part,in doing so i removed the fuel pipes from the convertor and put them back the wrong way round.. I added the medals mod and launched a large vehicle,the idea was to get my 12 heroic kerbals in space so they all had the 'first Kerbal in space' medal,it was a troubled flight and it just made it into orbit,all looked good and i sat here laughing,then it dawned on me i could only see Jeb and Bob in the cabin,i had popped back to the VAB and KSP changed the crew rota..
