  1. After the reinstall was unsuccessful in clearing the issue, I decided to take advantage of the unique design of my research base. It was built to carry two docked rovers to the moon with me, each of which were held attached by a junior docking ring, each of which carried the only antennae installed on the base. The first of the rovers was damaged during initial exploration, the second held the bugged antenna. I detached the rover, drove it a considerable distance from the base, and destroyed it to eliminate the bug. I then launched an autonomous rover equipped with a claw to land on the moon. After successfully landing only 3 km from the base, I drove over and attached to the base. Its antenna was able to successfully transmit the science data home, and since I loaded it with a few new science implements, I was able to increase the science production at the same time.

  3. I found the science transmission bug [R&D]: No Science Subject found with id sciencelab@Mun as well, but without the antenna range plug-in. The only add-on that I am currently running is DebrisFix. The Communotron is extended and the science transmission registers up to 100% (twice), yet no science is transmitted and the antenna remains extended and transmitting. Aborting the transmission only progresses to have a perpetual "aborting transmission" message replacing the "transmitting" message. The antenna is on a docked rover. If I disconnect and/or reconnect the rover, there is no change to the antenna status. Here is a copy of a section of the Player.log (Mac OS 10.10.3). [R&D]: No Science Subject found with id sciencelab@Mun (Filename: /Users/builduser/buildslave/unity/build/artifacts/MacStandalonePlayerGenerated/UnityEngineDebug.cpp Line: 56) NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at ResearchAndDevelopment.GetScienceValue (Single dataAmount, .ScienceSubject subject, Single xmitScalar) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at ResearchAndDevelopment.SubmitScienceData (Single dataAmount, .ScienceSubject subject, Single xmitScalar, .ProtoVessel source, Boolean reverseEngineered) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at RnDCommsStream.submitStreamData (.ProtoVessel source) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at RnDCommsStream.StreamData (Single dataAmount, .ProtoVessel source) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at ModuleDataTransmitter+.MoveNext () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 (Filename: Line: -1) [CurrencyConverter for Unpaid Research Program]: 0 Reputation taken, yields 0 Science (Filename: /Users/builduser/buildslave/unity/build/artifacts/MacStandalonePlayerGenerated/UnityEngineDebug.cpp Line: 56) [CurrencyConverter for Unpaid Research Program]: 0 Reputation taken, yields 0 Science (Filename: /Users/builduser/buildslave/unity/build/artifacts/MacStandalonePlayerGenerated/UnityEngineDebug.cpp Line: 56) [CurrencyConverter for Unpaid Research Program]: 0 Reputation taken, yields 0 Science (Filename: /Users/builduser/buildslave/unity/build/artifacts/MacStandalonePlayerGenerated/UnityEngineDebug.cpp Line: 56) [CurrencyConverter for Unpaid Research Program]: 0 Reputation taken, yields 0 Science (Filename: /Users/builduser/buildslave/unity/build/artifacts/MacStandalonePlayerGenerated/UnityEngineDebug.cpp Line: 56) [CurrencyConverter for Unpaid Research Program]: 0 Reputation taken, yields 0 Science (Filename: /Users/builduser/buildslave/unity/build/artifacts/MacStandalonePlayerGenerated/UnityEngineDebug.cpp Line: 56)
  4. What fixed it? I have a base on the Mun that has this error, the Communotron is stuck extended, it says it is transmitting still after the "Done" message appears, no science rewarded or removed. If I click on abort transmission, it get's stuck on "Aborting Transmission". In the debug menu, there is an error that reads "[Error]: [R&D]: No Science Subject found with id sciencelab@Mun". I have four other research labs that work fine, but this one is broken.
  5. There has to be a better way than completely reinstalling the program...or not. I am having the exact same problem on a Mun base. So infuriating. .....and reinstall was NOT successful.
