  1. dear all, By way of exception I have done with the habitats already the texturing - just finished to texturing all the new Habitat Modules.   2. dear all, here a preview (blender) of the DMC-5 (Docking Module Can 5m) for ATS. basically do me something hard with the choice of colors and texturing because is not my domain... but i think looks pretty good. Maybe other details will be added later. - the DMC-5 has Diameter of a 5m
  3. yes mod is actually in development. Project-download exist but only for project contributors and testers. why : Because it does not make sense for the others to release a non-finished product as download. - when it is finished there will be released a new topic in the RELEASE-thread of this forum.
  4. Would like to add : why per docking node 2 need to transform is unclear to me. - the transforms needed for the docking are the "controlTransformName = TF2_ctrl" - these are each rotated by 90 '(see pictures above) but is ok, i have a solution that works on game.

  8. hi all, after some try it has now worked. The IVA for the bee-pod I started and integrated. Still not quite finished there is a lot to make.   10. at moment i have some little issues with multiple docking ports on a same object - Of course I am grateful for every tip that contributes to the solution here more infos : apart from this issues, the small bee-pod makes a good impression at work on space. http://imgur.com/a/tuaoi cheers !

Therefore my request also to you. ) hi all, i have another Q: It is possible to make 2 docking port on the same object ("ship"-bee pod). One down there others at the front up. Apparently only one docking port per object can be addressed. Of course it could be solved by creating a separate docking port, and attached to the ship. But this would be my last ratio - Later I deleted "TRFbot" and "TRFtop".   15. hi all, once again the concept has been thought out - to transport the habitat modules and to put them together, there are different ways. I have decided for a small transport-unit.   17. Good discussion - this topic should be deepened in my opinion. Why: apart from the clear moral aspect that speaks for each modder, and the one donation NOT against copy right, I would address this topic quite differently. - first :I would hide that it is the game theme, it is about art. To expand the art, to embellish it and to give the end user an emotion. a mod is the product of many countless working days, which an artist or Artist Team (modding artist's) needs to make available. - as simple and self-evident as it is today to pay for a good mp3 song few cents on the music portals (like Apple Music, Spotify,etc.), so it should be self-evident also for modding artists - as simple as the musician from the music-portals, the cents so that he can continue to make good music, so of course this should also be for a modding artist ! So I do not partly understand the whole principle-discussion whether one should donate at all for modding(ARTIST) .. my view is quite clear YES! YES it should be self-evident - in reality it is not .. consumer think: 'is only a modder'... but the MP3 songs on consumers handy are also free ...? NO ! no, because musician cant live by air - .. coffee costs -> free download mentality harms everyone. First the artist,. later the consumer .. because the artist has changed job or hobby.

As described above in a previous thread, I can start the next Rocket Factory release only after the AVALON project is finished. - but here a little preview of the new mod. ..   20. Hi all, still a few pictures to the theme habitat module. I have found that the habitat main module lbsi-HAB-84 [8.4m dia. X 8.3m height] is roughly comparable (With additional modules) to the Bigelow Nautilus * BLUE object => BA330 'Nautilus' outher dimensions - here therefore some pictures from the inside of the nautilus - maybe I can take his as an example for my Habitats IVA. - In contrast to the BA 330 my habitats are not extendable.   21. so just finished the ATS Engine drives in Unity -- it looks quite good http://imgur.com/gallery/BNViF the redesign of the LF (chemical liquid fuel) version of ATS Engine will following soon. - The height had to be adapted S1 STAGE-Adapter. - tomorrow config setup of drives, and ATS Core FuelTank Config Adaptation to ISFuelSwitch plugin (Interstellar Fuel Switch ) - so because now we are Different tank fillings. NERVA double Nuclear-Engine // NERVA Nuclear-Engine // ClosedCycleGasCore Nuclear-Engine later, a summary of the ATS engines follows in the form of a table matrix with performance and features propellant use etc.. I have decided to take the fuel-cluster tank into the assortment. This can be used as an "ats unit" for refueling other stations or (like this picture). Oh yes - as usual - the textures come at the end .. first I test functional aspects. .
