  1. Hey guys, I seem to have some major problems with this otherwise great mod so I thought I'd seek some advice here.. I needed some further fuel capacity for my space-taxi style SSTO running on HTP and therefore wanted to add some parts from the B9 Aerospace mod. Specifically I wanted to add the shoulder fuselages (B9_Aero_HL_Extension_A/B/C). Adding one part usually works fine but from then on I have to be really careful. Copying the added part completely messes things up, it creates a copy instantly halfway into the ground with which I cannot really interact with while also disabling right click menus. Once this happens I have to go out of the SPH to get things working again. If I try to launch the pad, it shows on the runway for 1 sec, then everything vanishes and I only see the skybox. At this point I have to restart KSP because even if going back to the space centre then, all textures are broken. As said, that happens every time when I try to copy those parts. But even if I add them manually they mostly work for some time (I launch the vessel to test after having added all shoulder parts and it stays at the runway) but when I add other parts to the craft and try to launch again, the skybox thing appears again... This also completely breaks the craft file as even if I remove all parts except the first one (which is stock), I only see the skybox on launch. Any advice? And maybe a general question, this is compatible with B9 and Interstellar part switch, correct?
  2. Hey guys, it seems I have a major problem with the most recent Kopernicus (1.7.3-1). I got myself a new laptop with strong graphics (gtx 1660ti) and therefore pimped up my KSP visuals via various mods. Everything runs very smoothly (100+ fps) and looks beautiul, with one exception: When I approach Duna for landing (near the surface), fps suddenly drop to 6 and remain there. Also after landed. I even started a new save and sent a rudimentary rover (5 parts) to Duna via Hexedit, issue still persists. All other bodies I visited so far were running fine. After a long search via uninstalling mods mod by mod I found that the most recent version of Kopernicus seems to be culprit. I checked that by installing an older version of Kopernicus (1.7.0-1, randomly chosen), that worked fine again, the 5 part rover was standing very smoothly on Duna. I cannot use that with my main save though since I am playing with OPM, that makes the save break when loaded with the older version of K. All my mods are up to date (or at least compatible), and as said, everything it running smoothly without Kopernicus or with an older version of it (or on another planet than Duna). I would like to send you the log file and the Kopernicus log zip but can't find any upload button? Any advise appreciated!
  3. Just checked, works fine now. Whooo!!!! Thanks a lot for the swift help
  4. Hi all, hi nightingale, first of all, thanks for the contract pack, funded me my last trip through kerbal a couple of months ago Though now I have a compatibility problem for which I need your help. I decided to follow Scott Manley's path and conquer the Ciro System from Galileo's Planet Pack. Unfortunately, the only missions that pop up are the generic one's based on the 'PlanetMoonRelay.cfg', nothing else. I want especially the inner / outer network missions so I investigated into their cfg's. Could not find a reason for them not to pop up, they seemed generic enough, did not mention any stock planets like 'Kerbin' or so (which is usually the reason for incompatibility with contract packs and the planet mod). Do you have any idea what could be the reason and what has to be changed in the cfg? Thanks for help! Best Pawel
  5. Hi, first of all, thanks for this truely phantastic mod! Learned more about physics and chemistry than in my entire school life haha! I have one problem though.. Since you have removed the refinery (?) I don't see any possibility to extract ammonia anymore. I was about to set up a huge ammonia industry on jool orbit / laythe following your wiki. But neither the ISRU refinery (which is mispelled IRSU in the description btw ;)) (also had checked its cfg...) on laythe nor the scoop in jool's atmosphere (just finds helium?) seems to be able to extract ammonia.. Or am I doing something wrong? Thanks for your help!
  6. Thank you guys for the replies! Unfortunately BigFatStupidHead's answer doesn't help as all the nodes that make problems have been researched after I installed (or updated) the respective mods. @ Yemo: Searched every corner in the VAB, didn't find the greenhouse (or any other parts in the repsective nodes). After I moved the parts to other unproblematic nodes via cfg editing, I found them directly. Here's the screenshots of my gamedata folder, I will add some of my techtree tonight when I am home. Again, thank you for your help, feel free to make further suggestions;) if you need anything else, I will provide. (P.S.: Hope it is ok to integrate the screenshots into the post, I didn't find another way to attach them...)
  7. Dearest ksp community! I have found this gem and ever since thrown countless days of my fainting youth into it, never regretting any of them. Then I found the mods. Countless mods. Kept installing them, kept enjoying them. This was until now. Somehow a mod combination has caused trouble, and I think the trouble is related to the community tech tree. Let me state my problem: As I said, I already have a good share of mods installed (26 by now?), until very recently, never had a problem with them, all worked perfectly together. But now I realized that some parts from other mods, that are integrated into CTT, do not appear in the building section of the VAB. When I open the tech tree, the parts are listed in the correct CTT nodes, I can research them and then they appear unlocked in the tree. But when I want to build them onto my rocket (in the VAB), they are not listed there!! I am pretty sure that the problem is related to CTT, not to the mods that provided the parts, bechause it only happens for certain nodes, and within these nodes, all parts are affected! Some examples: First node causing problems is short term habitation: As I am using SETI greenhouse mod, as well as Stockalike Station mod, the node contains both SETI greenhouses and the shanty habitation module. This is perfectly displayed in the r&d section. But when I want to build the parts, they do not appear in the VAB. Same accounts for the node Artificial intelligence containing Interstellar's computer core. As well as the node Experimental aerodynamics, which contains parts from several mods. None of them appear in the VAB after I researched the node. What I did in order to solve the problem: Having guessed that the problem is related to CTT rather than to the part providing mods, I edited the part's cfg's and changed their required node to another node that did not 'hide' any parts. And voila, the parts were perfectly buildable. But since I think there might be a more generic solution than editing every config from every problematic node, I am asking you for help! Ever heard of this problem? I could not find anything related to this issue. So please help me, as this is getting more and more of a game breaker for me.....
