  1. You may edit any settings you want in AI and WM. You can also request rules changes until 12:00PM tomorrow(8/22) EST. I will consider them.
  2. How about a 2v2 tournament following these rules: Rules -No mods. (Except for BDarmory) -Fights are 2v2(of the same plane, so 2 of plane A and 2 of plane B) -Fights are best of 3, finals are Bo5 -The last flying aircraft wins. If both are destroyed in the sky, the round is considered a draw. If they die within 5 seconds of each other, it's a draw. -75 parts at most -400 fuel per J-404 -500 per TurboRamjet -200 per Wheesley -100 per Juno -REACTION WHEELS ARE ALSO NOT ALLOWED. -All designs must be withing the point limit, which is stated below. -All turrets MUST be fixed forward -Two entries per tournament. -No clipping fuel tanks or engines. They can be slightly clipped for looks, but not completely inside each other. Structural parts and ammo, guns, gear, etc. Is ok. Wings are OK as long as you're not putting all your wings inside the plane. Point System 60 point limit -AIM-9 - 5 Points -AIM-120 - 4 Points -All other missiles - 4 points -Chaff - 2 Points -Flares- 3 Points -Ammo Can - 4 points (all types) -.50 cal turret - 4 points -GAU 8 30mm - 14 points -M230 - 6 points -Vulcan Hidden - 6 points -Vulcan Turret - 8 points -ECM Jammer - 20 points -Goalkeeper - Banned -Abrams Cannon - Banned -M102 - Banned -Millennium Cannon - Banned ABL Laser - Banned Setting up matches To set up the match, all planes will be VesselMover'd into position, and then the host will quicksave, and start the match. Already submitted crafts may be modified until the tournament starts on August 30th. Any AI and Weapons Manager settings can be changed(but altitude settings must be default).
  3. So, I'm thinking about building a PC for a cousin of mine. I'm trying to keep prices under $400, from Amazon, Newegg, and MicroCenter(I have one near me). The goal of this build is an expandable, easy to maintain, powerful(compared to XB1 and PS4), and small system. So I have a few requirements: -mITX or HTPC case -$450 maximum, only Newegg, MicroCenter, Best Buy, and Amazon are allowed -Intel CPU(upgrade path, haswell is fine, nothing older) -SFX PSU(cable management in an mITX/HTPC) -No overclocking This needs to be outputted around Christmas, or October, or now this year(Kaby Lake should drop Skylake prices) PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Pentium G4400 3.3GHz Dual-Core Processor ($64.99 @ Newegg) Motherboard: ASRock H110M-ITX/ac Mini ITX LGA1151 Motherboard ($69.98 @ Newegg) Memory: Crucial 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory ($33.99 @ Amazon) Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon RX 460 4GB WINDFORCE OC Video Card ($134.98 @ Newegg) Case: Fractal Design Define Nano S Mini ITX Desktop Case ($69.99 @ Amazon) Power Supply: Silverstone 300W 80+ Bronze Certified SFX Power Supply ($49.99 @ Amazon) Total: $423.92 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2016-08-21 16:24 EDT-0400 MicroCenter has: -a G4400 for $50 -8 GB Crucial DDR$ for $33 -Mobo for $30 off with the CPU($40) -No GPU -PSU for more than Amazon -Case for more than Amazon So, with MicroCenter, it totals to $377.
  4. I would recommend using KER or MJ2. That way, with space ships, you can determine range of crafts very easily. That and it shows purpose of ships much better, and allows for you to compare ships in the series in terms of effectiveness per ton.
  5. Keudn's engines had trouble starting, not yours. I recorded from Keudn's point of view.
  6. Yeah, but it happened often enough that I made said post, because restarting would take far too long per video, and I couldn't give you special treatment. Also, your engines were fine. Keudn's were not.
  7. Yes,I did count it as a loss when the plane crashed because I mentioned it to you personally and added an addendum to the rules in a post. The AI probably could, you might need to mess with Steer Factor and Dampening. I'll do that for all current videos as best I can. Round 10 exists at the moment. It was uploading. Sorry...
  8. Round 9 DF-54 Basilides vs Swift B9 -10979 m -12791 m -6012 m -6574 m -9444 m -5129 m -14329 m -16173 m Round 10 F-18 Viper vs Raptor 2 -14333 m -18771 m -15132 m -4331 m -14049 m Round 11 UF-8 vs A dorito -14921 m -4547 m -10589 m -12564 m -15814 m Round 12 F-18 Viper vs Swift B9 -5717 m -15710 m -17843 m -9486 m -19570 m
  9. 8 missiles hit out of 12, which split the Pico, which, funnily enough, works when split in half really well. Those hits were sequential, and were able to split a Pico. But, couldn't kill that thing with 4 of the same missiles you were using that I centralized on a Pico frame that hit simultaneously(on the upper armor section). The ship still had 1 full small ASM. And a Pico, even when split, is likely to retain propulsion systems as long as propulsion isn't specifically targeted, as well as 3 full solar panels, which is almost enough to sustain electricity with maxed ion engines.
  10. Oh, thanks! I can help to do some reviews if you want. No voice, though, and I would be basically using text to convey what my impressions are.
  11. Thanks for waiting by the way. I do agree that others should get the chance to post their crafts. @8bitgammers I don't think you armor-tested the Abraxas.
  12. CR-02 Pico S CR-03 Pico 2 Links will be PM'ed over. These craft files are still highly secret.
  13. Oh, sure. The Picos are still using ions, just more of them. 10% margins by the way(90-110 tons), and Eeloo I'd suggest for a planet. I think you'll be seeing 2 Pico S-class ships and 2 Pico 2-class ships. Also, where are you uploading the comics to? The same thread? EDIT: I have my ship selection ready, but they aren't placed in orbit yet. 2 CR-02(ASM)-class ships "Mono" and "Solo" 1 CR-02(Mini-ASM)-class ship "Poly" 1 CR-02-class ship "String"
  14. I'm gonna submit some other crafts, improvements on the Pico. Namely the ASM and Mini ASM variants, so you can have fun with those.
  15. Would you like some sort of subcapital fight? The Picos are ready, and I now have 3 variants of them, the CR-01, CR-02, and CR-03. Perhaps 100 tons, 4 ships?
  16. Are you looking for any spacecraft? If so, I have a new line of ships that are just a bit bigger than fighters(18-35 tons). Only asking if I should submit now, or post- episode 25.
  17. Oh, I wish you luck with college then!
  18. @ScriptKitt3h Do you plan on taking your turn with quasarr?
  19. They offer both 64 bit and 32 bit versions, yes. Expect about $80 for Win10 unless you are a student, where you can get discounts.
  20. Well, that's modern PSUs. But still, thanks for that help. I am a tad confused on this topic.
  21. Power supplies do lose reliability and wattage over time as internal components die. That, and 1 kW of PSU at 80% efficiency will at minimum pull 200W from the wall if I remember correctly. You save about 150W during the use of a PC if you have a smaller(550W or so) PSU because at 550W and 90%, you pull 55W from the wall. That doesn't even account for actual power usage by PC components.
