  1. This is amazing! Thank you so much!
  2. Yea, there's definitely some game pausing (of wildly variable length) whenever I do something major like staging manually, or landing on a surface. I may just keep TCA set to manual staging.
  3. Heya! I'm just learning this cool mod and I think I have the idea of it mainly. I can't get Autostage to work properly. With it active and enabled "To Orbit" , once my first stage is out of fuel it stages *all* of my stages one after another. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? It's probably something really basic :S
  4. Great to see you're back in the swing of IR @ZodiusInfuser ! The new parts look awesome. I just wanted to confirm that the current Ckan downloads for KSP 1.3+ (InfernalRobotics v2.0.14 and InfernalRobotics-LegacyParts v2.0.5) don't include any rework parts yet? I'm only getting the old old legacy in my game just yet, and I can't see any other Infernal Robotics options in the ckan library, unless they've been listed under some other name? I'll probably hold off manual installs until a ckan option is out. Elegant + beautiful mod, great to see it's still being maintained! o7
  5. Thanks, that half answers my question. I think I mis-communicated - I meant both: does it shield it's cargo (sounds like it does), and does it have its own correct drag model. Also, I meant stock parts only, no mods (by user made fairings i meant procedural stock ones. ). So yea, do these stock cargo bays, service bays and fairings have correct drag for themselves at the moment?
  6. Firsty, thanks so much Claw and co for the amazing info. Does the incorrect drag for hollow parts apply to user made fairings and service bays as well? I'm using service bays for science equipment and batteries, but I'm not sure if its even needed, or just adds weight. In sandbox mode one can just add whatever advanced parts, but I'm in lower level career mode for my first game, and I've had quite some trouble getting long range planes to be viable for surveys/science. This really helpful thread describes drag as of Oct 2013 (not sure what version) saying that fairings don't help, but that's the old aero model. If they still calculate drag incorrectly, or as if opened, is there any reason currently to use these parts (eg. thermal protection for re-entry), or does adding them simply add weight?
