  1. OK, I'm game. Let's go with one of the most famous re-makes in rock history.
  2. My biggest pet peeve are drivers that ride right on another drivers bumper! That makes me crazy. Seriously, why do they feel the need to get so close to the car ahead of them?? Do they think it's going to make the person ahead of them drive faster?
  3. I'm thinking Bill Kerman. Bob and Bill are a funny pair. Bob is super serious, but Bill is the opposite, and a bit of a prankster (IMO). I could see Chris Pratt in that role.
  4. I would love to write it.
  5. Right there is all the reason you need. How many wars on Earth were started over ideology? "Convert or die!!!"
  6. Oh, yuck! These were written before I took over as writer. I had no idea they were there but I will get on it immediately. Thank you for pointing them out!
  7. Absolutely! There is a mission report section for both KSP1 and KSP2. These are generally related to something you've done in the game, but in many cases can be expanded into a story with multiple missions. I got my start with a mission report that turned into a 100 chapter fan-fiction epic: And we have a separate fan works section which consists of just about anything and everything Kerbal related. Feel free to write anything you want, in whatever style you prefer. Graphic storytelling is very welcome. No, it's not Not at all.
  8. Welcome aboard. Good to see another writer! Please feel free to check out our mission reports and fan works sections. And by all means write something of your own, if you are so inclined! There are never enough good Kerbal stories!
  9. Agreed. IMO, the idea of taking tourists down that deep just to see it is completely insane, and far too risky.
  10. This is so tragic. I can only hope and pray that they are OK, although it's looking pretty bad at this point. In principal I don't think there's much difference between visiting the site of the Titanic vs the Arizona in Pearl Harbor. But I totally agree that diving that deep and putting yourself in that kind of danger to do it is totally nuts! At least that's my opinion.
  11. "So what happens if a werewolf bites a goldfish?" - Neil Gaiman
  12. Yes, exactly. In the case of writing and localization: anything that is misspelled, or if something is incorrectly punctuated, or even an extra space where it shouldn't be - that qualifies as a bug. I have been very careful to proofread everything. but there are literally thousands and thousands of text strings already in the game, and occasionally mistakes slip through. If you spot anything that looks out of place, please feel free to report it, and I will get it corrected.
  13. This one will be in my head all day... hahaha I'm in the middle of (another) online advanced grammar course (because there is always room for improvement) I just started a section on conjunctions, and the first thing the instructor mentioned was this classic from my childhood. And I almost fell out of my chair laughing. This is arguably one of the most important, beloved, and (unfortunately) forgotten gems of all time. Folks my age probably already guessed. This is Conjunction Junction
  14. I know I should stay out of this, but I am going to expand on what Nestor said a little, using myself as the example. I am a writer, not an engineer. I am qualified to fix writing and localization bugs, but that's about it. If I stopped what I'm doing right now and tried working on the more complex bugs, I would most likely cause more problems than I would solve. And none of the science writing would be done on time.
  15. Oh no... RIP Jim Brown https://sports.yahoo.com/legendary-browns-rb-jim-brown-dies-at-87-193052425.html https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/37685864/all-great-running-back-jim-brown-dies-87
  16. Oh, wow... Here's an epic blast from the past. And I totally agree!!! Plan Kappa was in it's prime when I first joined the forum, and one of the fan-fiction stories that inspired me to start mine. I miss @Parkaboy. I hope he's doing well. I would highly recommend this to anyone that's looking for a fun read!
  17. Another one I'm really looking forward to, though I suspect it will be hard to watch.
  18. I am digging really, really deep for this gem. I am a (very proud) child of the 60's, and I first heard this when I was... IDK... 8-9 years old??? Then I had the greatest Deja-vu moment when I re-discovered it in the late '90's. They were so influential, but are so forgotten and unknown now... it's a shame. This is a band called Love Enjoy:
  19. Congrats everyone! I'm loving Plan-B. @Oraldo revak your videos just keep getting better and better!
