  5. Are you talking about the stock system or KSRSS?? If there are Parallax configs for KSRSS flying around I must have missed them... but I dont read each and ever post anymore, rather wait for a full release.
  6. If ever we get a full release of KSRSS with proper Parallax- and EVE volumetric configs it will be a glorious day indeed!! Many many thanks in advance to all the contibutors to this lovely mod.
  7. Hello, and welcome to the forums. It is not advised to run any older cloud configs alongside the new volumetrics, there will be conflicts. Just dont do it (yet, wait for the AVP guys to incorporate the updated base mod and write their own configs) Eventually, yes, I would bet. Please keep in mind we are seeing an early access dev build, a work in progress so to speak. And, on top of what the final version of Blackracks own configs will bring, you will soon get other config packs like the AVP mentioned above. And I am sure we will see some amazing interpretations of Jool's atmo quite soon.
  8. @blackrack et al., while I am "asking questions that I always wondered about"... is there a way to disable clouds (or other visual mods for that matter) in map view and/or the tracking station?? Again sorry for the ignorance, I admit it's been a long time since I read every thread and post on here.
  9. Thank you! I see, cheers. Not trying to mix anything myself here, I leave the config magic to you guys. Just something I always wondered, for my general understanding of what comes from where. As for incorporating other features etc, I am sure once it gets public all those nifty mod creators and config magicians will come up with all kinds of packs once more.   10. The pre-release works and looks amazing. I am happy to report I was surprised how little it impacted the game's performance on my rig. Running the old faithful 1080Ti and I get way more frames than I was expecting. Excellent job @blackrack I have a basic question that might be unrelated tho: those Auroras that people make, are they part of E.V.E configs or are they part of Scatterer configs?? I apologize for my ignorance. Same for this "glow" or faint dust that people sometimes use, do they use E.V.E or Scatterer for this?? Thanks in advance.
  11. There is/was an SSTV easter egg on Duna, but it was always on the south pole, according to the Wiki: On the southern ice cap, there is a pyramidal hill that emits an SSTV signal. The source of the signal was several hundred meters beneath the hill as of 0.22, but as of 1.2, the signal is back at the surface. As of 1.12, the hill seems to emit no signal. (66° 3′ 0″ S 160° 53′ 0″ W) Maybe it's in space now??

  13. good point! you are right, of course. Hence the dependence for TR or similar mods to replace the stock skybox.
  14. The mod Distant Object Enhancements has dynamic skybox dimming, plus you can set the overall brightness. I guess when you would set that to 0 percent... that was my first thought. but I am sure you could just delete the skybox when you find where it is located in the files, or replace that with a black picture?
  15. Agree. It's so stupid, and ridiculous. Women soccer is much better in that regard, apparently. Personally I dont care about either one, but I was told only the men do that silly diving stuff.
  16. Not that I am aware of, but I am by no means a console guru. Rather droping by to say Hi, buddy, good to see you. And I feel your pain there. My advice is to not even go there, but I see the point of course.
  17. Cheers! That's more than plenty! Thanks for taking the time! Man, 60 fps, how spoiled are we these days? Anyone remember when we still were on the older version of Unity, before all the performance enhancements? Just part count alone would bog down the game, no matter what hardware you threw at it.
  18. Sure thing! But from what I am gathering (even though the info is scarce at this point ), I believe a 1080Ti with 11GB and 32GB of RAM will still be able to provide stunning volumetrics and run Parallax on the side. Right? Right??? LOL
  19. The other day I was daydreaming of a full KSRSS release, including configs for the new EVE with volumetrics, Parallax, everything. Building an install with all the mods we love and never even bothering about KSP2 until it is polished, if at all. Such a dream KSP install would be all I need for years. Great stuff guys, keep up the good work.
