  1. Hello Ok this thread is quite old, but for the people who are struggling getting a free return trajectory I cannot stress this enough : [...] for a while [...] I just passed the last hour to get it right. So there's always hope !
  2. I managed to get to the Main Menu. The outdated mods weren't part of the problem. However I installed RSSVE and Scatterer manually. Apparently it did the job.
  3. Hello, I just came back to wanting to play KSP I used to play a lot on RSS and RP0, so I know about the game crashing if the amount of memory is not enough. I monitored the launch of the game but I had still 6GB of free memory when it crashed. It might be because of outdated mod. I watched a video from Scott Manley where he is whowing how to install RSS (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0a6PLkDUWF4). You can see that when he launches the game, it tells him that 3 mods are outdated (same as me, except for KJR) but the main menu still shows. So I don't understand here what's going on. The version I am playing on is 1.2.2 from GOG (Windows 7, 12GB RAM). I used CKAN to download and install the mods necessary for RSS. Reproduction : The game crashes when all mods are loaded, just before the main menu. On the launch of the game, 4 mods are said to be outdated : - Kerbal Joint Reinforcement - SCANsat - Semi Saturable RW - Ven's Stock Revamp I didn't tried to remove them as I want them on my modlist. On their webpage, those mods are updated for 1.2, and their next release is for 1.3. I guess that is why it is considered to be outdated ?   4. Hello May I suggest the idea of introducing a new feature that would involve a possible mishap on the launchpad before launching a new launch vehicle ? This, however, might need some kind of other feature like a stageable fueling.
  5. On my side I had problem with new RP0/RO career, where I couldn't accept the contracts. I downloaded the latest master from github and now it's working thanks
  6. Ok so I modified a config file in Scatterer and now all goes well In the PlanetList.cfg, I had to write this : transformName = Kerbin instead of transformName = Earth
  7. Thank you for the quick reply. I think it is Scatterer because I just installed it, and everything was OK before. I will try to see if I can do someting. I installed Scatterer, EVE and RVE in an unfashioned way, meaning I'm playing 1.1.3 and found a workaround on the RVE (which is 1.0.5) forums, but apparently it messes things up
  8. Hello ! I had an "unexpected exception" with Contract configurator that came twice (not the same one). I don't see anything that have changed, but i might have missed something.   9. Hello everyone and thank you for your awesome answers ! I was doing my correction at 90° / 270° from the latitude I wanted to be. That seemed to work. However, I really like when I am doing calculations to get perfectly to where I want to be. That is why I am not a big fan of the eyeball technique. But it shure works ! I am sure I can get a good prediction with KER. I didn't knew the technique from Snark with the surface mod, I am quite excited to try this ! I will tell you if I manage to find a way to achieve this precision. Thanks again and have fun with this amazing simulator !
  10. Hello ! I have to achieve a mission asking me to take a multi spectral image log above some place on Kerbin. So I am puting myself on the right orbit to be on top of that place. However, as every kerbal knows, Kerbin rotates so, by the time I get on the predicted place on the orbit, I won't be on top of the location anymore. Is there a way to know how much do I need to compensate my orbit to be on top of the target location ? Maybe a mod or some calculations ? Thank you for your help
  11. Hello ! I confirmed what @ferram4 and @TeiwazVIE just said. For me, it's the Skipper and Mainsail. I didn't unlocked the Rhino so far, so couldn't tell, but the Poodle and Terrier are fine for me. As I don't know how to fix this, I just removed the Skipper.mu and Mainsail.mu files from the mod for now.
  12. Hello Thank you for your answers ! So I had a deep look into that, and I found precisely the parts that went wrong : Only the Skipper and Mainsail engines make the voxels go nuts, and only if Ven's Stock Revamp mod is installed. Now I am looking for a way to fix this, as those two engines are quite useful Maybe with the Skipper.mu and Mainsail.mu files in Ven's Stock Revamp mod ? Thanks !

  14. I do as well, do you use FAR ? I do and the engines are note compatible with FAR... it makes the whole rocket flip over and ... well you know the end... I uninstalled Ven's mod until I can figure this out.
