  1. This is an awesome effect to implement. I hope you are adding the hidden re-entry effects and that small asteroids will explode in the atmosphere. KSC is no longer safe. Is that the KerbNet implemented in IVA? That's great! I'm not sure I can give up ScanSat but this is an awesome addition to the base game. Great update this week @SQUAD! Do I hear a distant steam whistle?

  3. I just had the same thing happen to me. I landed quite gingerly on the Mun but my tiny lander probe started to bounce up and down. I don't see any damper and spring controls in the landing leg menu so I can't play with that. Is this only in the VAB? I'll look again. I got it to stop bounding by retracting the legs. It is now sitting on its nearly spent fuel tank. I'm using those tiny side rockets, luckily.
  4. @Ger_space Yes, that western runway is very touchy. I tried landing at -2 m/s vertical velocity and my plane exploded. BTW, I could only do this because I moved my game to 1.4.5. Now I can land on the runways! The problem I had in 1.4.3 (posted above) is now gone. Why do you think that is?

My 1.4.3 install is using: Kerbal Konstructs v.1.4.3.3 Kerbin-Side Complete v.1.4.5 (recent CKAN update), and KerbinSide Core v.1.4.5 Kerbin Side GAP v.2.3 (prob not relevant) I made a trip to Old KSC and my craft keeps exploding as I approach either runway from the South. It's like it hits an invisible wall. I hadn't tried landing at Old KSC before the KS update. Please let me know if you need additional info.
  6. @SQUAD I like the suits too. I would suggest the suit colors to be a single color but switchable between 3-4 colors The helmet should have a carbon fiber texture with the bulges in white or another solid color.

  8. @jefftimlin I've noticed some issues with your mod. I have reloaded a quicksave and noticed that it doesn't place me at the right save time. Everything looks good in terms of craft and orbit but the timing is off. It's almost as if it loaded the persistant save. In another case, I made a save, spent some science and purchased parts to explore what direction to take next. I reloaded the save expecting for all the purchases to revert but they were still purchased. In both cases, after loading the saves through the stock pause menu, they loaded as expected. The quicksave timing was correct and in the other case, the science purchases were back to where they were. I'm not sure if there is a conflict with another mod. Let me know what additional info you would like. Has anyone else experienced this? Did I fat finger the tiles?
  9. I was expecting Take 2 to start working on 2.0. A significant free update to the current KSP is very welcome. I look forward to learning what the intent of 1.5 is.
  10. I was able to move my 1.3.1 career playthrough to 1.4.3 with no problems at all. This includes all 78 mods. I skipped 1.4.4 and copied my 1.4.3 game to 1.4.5. I got this weird bug where my craft will randomly fire off the RCS right after I EVA a Kerbal. This happens despite a pilot remaining aboard. The craft starts to drift. I'm back on 1.4.3 until that bug is fixed. Not sure if it is Squad or mod related.

  12. Agreed! Take your time polishing this patch. My 1.4.3 modded career playthrough is going strong! I'll move to 1.4.5 if all my mods stay compatible...

  15. Yay! Go InSight! I'm going to find a way to watch the launch this weekend. More thanks for continuing to patch the game. However, I'm not seeing a big difference Before and After. Am I missing something obvious..? Edit: Oh, it looks like the framerate is smoothed out. Nice!
  16. Congrats on the release of 1.4.1 and Making History! I always like to play stock before stacking up the mods. 1.4 runs a smooth and silky. I like that a lot of the UI details were cleaned up. Mouse click and drag response is rock solid and no glitches in flight. Now to download all the mods and heat up the processor.

  18. CKAN flags this mod as incompatible with DMagic Orbital Science yet your OP says you got input from DMagic. Is there something wrong with CKAN or is this mod indeed incompatible with DOS. I would love to use these together.
