  4. Apologies, I didnt note that down when it occured. Currently at 27y160d now, I believe I was roughly 128 days before that when I attempted. The beep I'm assuming is the standard gui confirmation.
  5. I seem to be having an issue with setting an alarm for a transfer window Kerbin->Jool. Upon hitting confirm, I get the beep sound but no alarm is generated.
  6. Having same issue as the above post. Have a contract to do the experiment and return it to kerbin with results inside. Ive cycled this twice and unable to complete contract. Do get the 'Warning: experiment xxx has detached from the station without being finalized' with the probe being docked to the station the whole time.

  8. Yes thats a valid option currently but Im looking to have the whiplash viable for the final product. Panther would be my best option currently but for future builds whiplash needs to be corrected.
  9. Have seen the same issue, for now looks like I may have to start a new save. Have to check if my current craft files can transfer to a new save.
  10. I would also like to suggest that wings be usable as a fuel storage option. Would be great if the wings were able to hold fuel. This could be added to work with the procedural wings to where max allowed fuel would be a fixed percentage of internal wing volume minus the percentage of the wing the control surface is taking up. That way its realistically usable and not OP. This may require the ability to switch fuel types depending on the intended aircraft being atmospheric or spaceplane.
  11. Landing gear hitboxes seem to shift/mutate after take off. Sometimes this seems to result in twisted landing gear model itself. This ususally causes the landing gear to not contact the ground evenly. The direction of friction/drag seems to often shift as well. Usually after landing its mostly not possible to take off again as the plane will not track straight on the ground. Sometimes at least one of the gear seem to be semi dislodged, exhibiting a vibration, while the other gear seem stable. Not sure if its the cycling up/down of the landing gear or the landing gear leaving the ground initially (edited)
  12. Built a SR-71 clone as faithfully as I could and was wondering why I was barely holding Mach 1. Back at the Vab started looking at the thrust numbers and it appears the Whiplash only offers an extra 10 kN of thrust over the J-33 Wheesley leaving it as a bad option as it also weighs .3 tons more!?
  13. Am seeing this issue as well. It seems I can load in and see the craft file I was working on but saves and launches arent working. Clicking load only shows the stock craft files.

Hello, I'm attempting to use OPT in this career and Im finding if I put any of the OPT rear cargo ramp parts on my craft seems to detonate on load sending parts out of the Kerbin system from as far as I can tell faster than 1c. I have tried adding world stabilizer to the mod list but it doesnt appear to help in any way. Any ideas would be great thank you.

  17. OK thanks for the reply. Been trying not to jump back but JNSQ seems hard to pass up. Haven't delved into non stock systems yet so I'm excited to start building for a new frontier.
  18. Possibly stupid question but I haven't been able to find an solid answer yet. Want to stick with KSP 1.9x but Im also wanting to dive into JNSQ and test myself. So far it looks like a no with the hold up being Kopernicus not currently working with 1.9. Has anyone had it successfully working with the latest version of KSP?
  19. I was wondering if it would be better if they added a way to scan for them that tied into the anomaly system. That way you could plan missions out and even attempt to land near a positive signal.

  22. perhaps a stupid question... does the plugin need to be dropped into the gamedata folder of ksp or into the main ksp directory, I do notice that there is a plugin directory already present in the main directory that is empty thanks again for all your help

  24. Kind of jumped the gun on purchasing the custom control pad app from frozen pepper software because I saw that it had KSP layouts in it. The app works it just doesnt get any of the telemtry data to the app because it appears the mod to do it hasnt been kept up. I have some mild programming knowledge but haven't attempted to make mods before myself. Can anyone point me to the best approach to get started or where the best resources are for creating mods. I know this sounds like a newb asking for advice situation but I really want to get this functional.
  25. Oh my god, just came across the app and bought it because I saw the KSP layout. I’m hoping I didn’t jump the gun. Is there still support for the latest versions of KSP. I’m at work right now so haven’t checked what ckan says. Hoping for the best, been looking for something exactly like this.
