I have to say, this is up there with my favorite KSP cinematics, and I think this is good enough to match Nassault's cinematics. I'd like to see more from you! Edit: I still love your cinematics, Nassault! :33

Name - Goliath Aerospace Administration Report - Through the entirety of our space program, there have been only two major incidents involving a death and/or destruction of a spacecraft. 1) Jebadiah Kerman, KIA, after failure to PROPERLY INSTALL PARACHUTES (Those engineers were since charged with involuntary manslaughter). 2) The DDV spacecraft experienced flight anomalies during descent into Duna's atmosphere and disintegrated. No lives lost. Overall, the RAA has a low rate of crashes and deaths (game crashes are quite often, unfortunately). We have also recently begun a long term scientific operation on Duna in the form of our Sera I mission site. Score: B- (81.5%)

Luckily!

At precisely 8:25 PM EST, the unmanned test flight of the Duna Return Vehicle Mk3 ended in the vehicle colliding at high speeds with the surface of Duna. During it's final descent, drogue chutes fitted to the spacecraft caused structural integrity loss, resulting in the spacecraft being torn into three separate pieces within three kilometers of the surface. The entire spacecraft crashed on the surface at more than 500 meters/second. This report also announces the halt of the DRV program for the time being. The Sera Mission site is being decommissioned until further notice from the Kerbal Space Agency Public Affairs unit.

10/10 would crash again. I've never been able to fly SSTOs, but this one looks, as Tony the Tiger says, GRRRRRREAT! -
Welcome to the forums, and good luck with that Duna mission!

The Sera I Mission Site on Duna. I included a dust storm pic to give that "The Martian" feel. (Sera I is also just Ares spelled backwards. Also to give that "The Martian" feel) . -
What's the furthest planet or celestial body you've visited?
KSACheese replied to JackBush's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Eeloo only. I've never really liked the New Horizons or other planet mods, so I've gone to only Eeloo. Also just a flyby. -
Hey! I'm experiencing an issue in that when I use "-force-opengl" my game crashes on entering any of the KSC facilities. I haven't really seen a post on this here yet, so I'm hoping someone can help me. Thanks for any help!

I actually agree with you... if possible, please someone move this! Thank you!

The test mission for the Kerbal Space Agency (KSA). The Endeavor is the first manned mission planned for a trip to Duna and back to Kerbin. Piloted by Jeb, Bill, and Bob, Endeavor is planned to arrive at Duna in one to three years. So far, the Endeavor has reached phase one of the mission, and is awaiting the trajectory burn to Duna. From there, any adjustments will be made within a few hours of the encounter. Then, the Endeavor will burn into orbit, drop the landing vehicle, from where the landing craft will land, burn into orbit, and rendezvous with the Endeavor, and will begin phase two of the mission. Endeavor will ditch the landing vehicle, burn out of orbit, do a trajectory adjustment, and return to Kerbin from there on. Beginning of Phase One: Enjoyyyyyy!

I gone through entire missions without realizing I had no parachute. My biggest fail, though, is landing on Minmus through THREE TRIES (Forgot parachutes, crash into surface, success, respectively) to get it right. The amount of rage that went into those missions is way tooooo much.

What is the most dangerous chemical that you know about
KSACheese replied to Ethanadams's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Carbon Dioxide. It causes the greenhouse effect, which envelops all of Venus (possibly ruining a past-perfect world), and is a cause of The Great Dying, in which roughly 90% of marine organisms and around 70% of all terrestrial organisms. I don't really know, to be honest, I'm not big on chemistry. -

I'd say that's still pretty impressive, even if it can't move
