  1. Sheesh. No idea what that’s about. All of the part files are in there. I’ll see what I can figure out and reinstall what I can. Thanks again.
  2. KSP: 1.12.1 Mac 64-bit Problem: Airplane plus, SXT, several other mods parts are not showing up in SPH or VAB Player.log: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3s78fjp6xbdgmb7/Player.log?dl=0 KSP.log: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ct9dq5ratb96llv/KSP.log?dl=0 Any insight you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  3. Well that's good to know, thanks. Any idea why it isn't working for me? Here's my mod list: I'm not sure if you'd need my logs or not, so lmk. I'm not an expert at this stuff. Apologies if this isn't how to go about this... any help is good help. Thanks!
  4. Apologies, I just saw your reply. I don't know if you're still having problems finding the Weapon Manager part, but assuming you've installed the BDAc properly, the best way to find it is to select the BDA part category in the editor, then select the "Legacy" subcategory, and it's the very last part all the way down at the bottom. Hopefully you haven't given up on trying to find it/use BDAc... bc it's the best haha.
  5. I haven't unlocked the last few parts of the tech tree yet (haven't gotten to play it much just yet and not using cheats), but so far Airplane Plus hasn't been working for me on both 1.12 and 1.12.1. I have no idea if any of the many other mods I'm running are responsible for interfering in some way (obviously, this early after the update and patch, most haven't been updated for 1.12.x yet – I'm updating them as they are, even on days I dont get to play). None of the parts are showing up in the editor. I'm not sure why that is, and I haven't gotten an "incompatible mod detected" message when loading. If anyone can help me figure that out, I'd be happy to provide my logs and mod list. That would be really awesome... as this mod is crucial to most gameplay... outside of the same old space missions.
  6. Please do not get rid of this notification! I rely on it to know when a mod is updated. Not all of us are windows/CKAN users! Yes Yes No
  7. I like it, and yes I follow the mods I use or have used and I rely on those emails to tell me when to update to new versions. So yes, please keep them!!
  8. Your craft needs to have a part called a "weapon manager" on it in order for BDAc to work. Slap one of those bad boys on and you should be able to get the BDAc GUI to open by clicking that icon on the right side in flight. edit: Btw, I don't envy you because you have clearly just discovered BDA and it happens to be at the time when almost none of the other mods that use it are being updated anymore. I'm not even sure if BDAc is. There used to be so many awesome naval mods, a ton of awesome missiles/weapons/radar mods, so much to play with and totally expanded the game. The reason I came back to write this / was on this site to begin with was because today I am at the point where even though I keep all my mods up to date, I can't get my game to start.. it freezes after "loading asset bundle definitions", just before the main screen opens up. so incredibly frustrating and I think the reason is because of these old, used to be amazing, unsupported mods that were fore BDAc. You missed the golden age of BDA by like three years. Anyways, there's still a ton to enjoy and I'm not even sure if that's actually my issue, but happy playing.
  9. I updated to 1.0.3 ...still having the same problems. Vessel loads on runway, frozen in place. If I hit Toggle KWP, the vessel drops a foot or two and then it is moveable/flyable. But KWP window shows no wind or weather whatsoever. If I hit Toggle KWP again, my vessel starts floating and spinning counter clockwise... and while the control surfaces respond to keystrokes, the craft doesn't respond at all, and is just stuck in the air spinning around slowly. If I try pushing Weather, nothing happens. If I try pushing Climatology, nothing happens. Then if I try pushing Toggle Weather at KSC while stationary on the ground, all of the sudden it's pitch black, you can see through my craft, through Kerbin, and into space, so my plane looks like it's a window to the other side of the planet. If I push the same button while moving or in air, it goes pitch black, and either crashes the game right away or my plane explodes and if I'm lucky I can hit escape and revert to SPH. I have tried it several times now and can't figure it out. It doesn't help that there's no way to tell if the mod is enabled or not... the window doesn't tell me, and since there is no weather/wind showing up no matter what I push, I can't tell that way either. My modded install takes too long to load to have my game keep crashing or for me to keep trying different buttons/sequences like this. Idk what to tell you man. I can post my log again but all I did was update to the new version. Im going to be uninstalling for now. Lmk if you get it working. Hope this was helpful, thats why I'm posting it.
  10. Maybe you could make a manual for using this mod because I've checked out the website and GitHub and this forum and cant seem to find an actual detailed explanation of how to use it/what each button does. I downloaded it weeks ago, had a bad experience with it just blowing my planes over or freezing them in place before I could use them on the runway. I have a heavily modded install. I just downloaded KWP again, and so far when I try to launch an airplane at KSP runway it loads and then again, is completely stuck in position and won't move no matter what. This time I tried clicking the weather button, and all the sudden I was in the air spinning out of control. Then I tried the climate button and it went insane. I reverted to SPH and tried again. This time I pushed I think climate again, and my game crashed. I am guessing this mod doesn't work well with BDAc and/or the issues have to do with PhysicsRangeExtender? Again, I have like almost 100 mods on there. I do keep them all up to date as they are updated but obviously we all know that's a mess and so are many of the mods in general. I can send a mod list but I don't know if it would be helpful or not because of how many there are? I've been playing KSP on a consistent and hardcore basis since 2015, but honestly I almost never post on forums and have posted logs once ever. I already restarted the game, so my log is only showing the game loading up. If there is a way to retrieve the log from when it just crashed, I'd love someone to tell me how to get it so I can post it here. Until then, Im just writing this so you're aware of it.. and I realize you cant help without that info. Regardless, I downloaded your mod because it obviously seems awesome and looks like you put a ton of time and work into it, so I just want to also say thank you and nice job. Now I just need to get it working for me! Haha. Edit: it just crashed again... Here's the log: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ct9dq5ratb96llv/KSP.log?dl=0 Mod list: https://www.dropbox.com/s/6xgmss23eboho75/Doc1.pdf?dl=0
  11. Thank you for offering to do that, I appreciate it, but it's not necessary. While I do still disagree with the wording on the buttons themselves, I hear your reasoning and I get it. I'll be quiet. Thanks for maintaining the mod for us.
  12. I say all of this politely; writing it on here takes it out of tone: I am sorry to go against any rules or norms on here but I must say, again, how much I disagree with your choice to make the "Ok" button on "Houston we have a problem" windows automatically exit the program. It makes no sense, and a modded install takes a long time to load. It's incredibly frustrating if I, god forbid, hit the wrong button... and that button doesn't say "Exit" or "Quit" (!!!) and my game quits after all of that loading. So now I have to wait another 10 mins or whatever ridiculous amount of time it is. It's totally cool if you want to have a quit button, but at least make it acknowledge the fact that it's going to quit the program. I'm not reading that whole long thing you wrote on the pop up message window or whatever it's called. And for the record.... whatever is triggering the message to begin with is not a "SHOW STOPPER PROBLEM". I've been playing with it for like a year now across multiple game versions/mod versions... so maybe take a look at that, idk, probably also my fault... but worth investigating.
  13. What category are the planes located in? I can't find the planes or anything from the aero pack anywhere. I have single part aviation installed... do I need to move the aero parts into that mod's parts folder? I can't figure it out.
  14. Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tubemen. That is all.
  15. Thank you for writing this all out for me, I appreciate it. I do know that about submitting logs and of course programmers aren’t psychics! They’re doing this for fun and for free, and I appreciate that as well. I’ve read enough of these threads over the 5-6 years I’ve been playing KSP... I just don’t usually post. Again, it was a weekend night and I was more “thirsty” earlier on in the night than when I posted (I hope that doesn’t upset the moderators). So I didn’t think to screenshot it. But you’re right that would have been the obvious and correct thing to do. Lisias, when I said “c’mon son”... I think that got lost in translation. It’s a quote from a show. I was just playing around, not trying to demeaning. Nothing about my post was meant to be an insult or anything like that. I was trying to joke around but obviously this format does not lend itself well to humor. I apologize. Anyways, guys or girls, it’s all good. My post was unnecessary. My computer just takes a while to load my modded install, so when it gets to the menu screen, I have a tendency to be like “ok enough waiting let’s play already” and unfortunately I’ve hit that “ok” button I was talking about and immediately quit the game several times, by accident. I’ve learned to be more careful about it, but I did it again the other night and I was just frustrated... so I was suggesting an alternative to how the buttons are currently set up. But since I wasn’t thinking 100% clearly, I started joking around. Again, apologies Lisias! I don’t know what I would do without the work you do on this, so thank you! Let’s all please just ignore what I wrote and move forward, if that’s alright. I’ll see if I can delete it.
  16. Sorry about that, I was having a bit of fun last night. The message I was referring to was the window that comes up once the game loads warning you of a potentially game breaking error or something. Thanks for your work on this mod I’m sure it’s not easy.
  17. @Johnny005611 you, sir, have created the greatest set of KSP mods/part packs of all time. seriously you're doing god's work. thank you for creating this. thank you
  18. @jrodriguez yeah, that’s what i’ve been doing. not a big deal at all I just figured I’d see what was up. thanks for the reply
  19. my apologies in advance if this has already been asked or mentioned, but was the feature to disable the mod removed on the most recent version... and why? I personally found it to be useful... especially on space missions when I am not using BDA/don't need PRE. I'm sure there's a reason for the change, but I really wish toggling the mod in-game was still an option.
