  1. Hello,

I'm not sure if my problem is related to Click Through Blocker or this one, but at startup I always get an input lock (as seen in the console). This means that I can't access anything on the screen (can't click on anything basically).

This problem only occurs after I installed both Toolbar Controller and Click Through Blocker. Is there something I did wrong, or haven't set up correctly?

I can fix it by removing the input locks but that's only a temporary solution.

  2. EDIT: seems like I wasn't paying any attention to the warning that KSP-AVC was throwing at me: I was still using CrossFeedEnabler......

    Hello,

I'm having an issue with the radialRCStank and RCStankRadialLong parts, or rather, they're not being recognized by the game.

First of all, did Squad update or modify these parts?

Somehow, older craft saves are giving me an error that those parts are missing (even though they show up in the game files). Is this something that has happened to others as well? It's the last step to recover my old save (and by extension those older craft saves as well). What's even more interesting is that some stock craft are throwing the same error (even after a full reinstall).

If necessary I can upload one of the troubled craft saves.

  3. Hello,

After a very long hiatus I decided to fire up KSP again. Of course, I first updated the many mods I was using but unfortunately some of them are either abandoned, or haven't been updated in a while.

Now, I wanted to load some old rockets but I'm getting an error where the game can't load "JSINonTransparentPod". If I'm not mistaken this has to do with the RPM mod? If yes, has this module been removed or am I missing something?

Sadly, this is one of many missing modules. Is there a thread somewhere where you can get help with loading old saves?

  4. My apologies for asking this perhaps stupid question but I haven't been playing KSP for over months and I have lost track on which mods I should still use and which I better delete.

Currently I have both Textures Unlimited and TextureReplacerReplaced installed. But from my understanding these two mods do basically the same (though Textures Unlimited has more advanced options?). Is there still any point in keeping TextureReplacerReplaced installed? I also have AstronomersVisualPack, EVE, Kopernicus, KSPRC and VenStockRevamp installed. Any of those mods that have become obsolete/incompatible with the current release (1.7)?

Thanks in advance for the help!

SVE + SVT would be the best performance-wise.
AVP + KSPRC would be the most intensive, but IMO the best looking.

Okay, I'll give them a try and see which one I like the best. But I guess they're very similar to each other?

Thanks again for helping me out. I'm not particularly new to mods but I am new to visual enhancement mods so any advice is welcome!

It is not recommended to use SVE alongside AVP or KSPRC alongside SVT (you going for a visual maximum here? lol). As far as I know, nothing EVE-wise conflicts (I'm guessing SVE's scatterer configs overwrite the default ones, and the clouds do not conflict due to how EVE works), KSPRC and SVT both attempt to retexture all stock bodies so I don't know what could happen there.

You use a combination of cloud pack and ground textures. Not more than one of each.

    AVP and KSPRC
    SVE and KSPRC
    AVP and SVT
    SVE and SVT

Thank you for your explanation and my apologies for using all these mods together :) I saw a picture on Reddit and he listed the same mods that I installed so I went for it.

Obviously as the creator of AVP you would recommend to use that mod but do you happen to know what the big differences are between AVP and SVE? Or to put it this way, which one of the four combinations you listed should I go with? I can understand if you're not sure about that, maybe I should do some more research

  7. Today I installed some visual enhancement mods to upgrade the visuals of my KSP install. I installed the following mods:

    - Stock Visual Enhancements
    - Stock Visual Terrain
    - Astronomer's Visual Pack
    - EVE
    - KSPRC
    - Kopernicus

Now, is there any benefit of installing both SVE and AVP? Or is it recommended to just use one of the two?

I've also run into two issues:
    - Is it normal that I can see the curvature of a planet through the clouds while in orbit? I guess the cloud layer is placed on top of the atmosphere?
    - Looking through a window from inside results in seeing a grey box (video). Any info on that issue?

Note: this post was also posted in the SVE's thread.

Nope. I never had this particular problem with the reentry AP. One useful info would be a screenshot of the dV window. Most of the math are done using that.

I recorded a video to show the problem:

I must admit however that I probably didn't have the required dV. I guess that's why I'm having this erratic behavior?

Is it technically possible to auto land on the KSC pad?

Hi @simtom, regarding your first question, the pink color overlay is normal. It's the ore overlay and seems to be on by default. You can toggle it on/off with one of the side buttons (I am sorry I forgot which one at the moment) on the side of the Monitor.

Hmm, I think I've already tried that. I'll check it again and report back.
