I just tried to launch the game again for the files. And, just as suddenly as when the game started not working, it now works again normally. I tried playing the game and everything is as usual. Strange... Both times I shouldn't have updated anything. Well, I suppose it's a good thing haha Sorry for the inconvenience!

Thank you (Sorry, i just noticed this answer) I have NVidia GeForce 970, which is working fine with my other games and afer noticing this bug I updated all my driver software. So I think it's not related to my gpu.

So I haven't reinstalled Steam, and I doubt it would help me as I deleted all KSP files from my computer by hand and even the new KSP.exe (or in this case, its Linux alternative) doesn't work. All my drivers and stuff should be up to date, I updated them yesterday. Everything else also works as usual. But well, I've managed to play the game via a Windows emulator.

I'm running KSP on Ubuntu(Linux) via Steam. The game used to work perfectly until yesterday, but today the game won't open. When I try to run the game, it shows a black screen for a few seconds and then goes back to the Steam overlay. I tried completely reinstalling the game, and it didn't work either.

Oh, no need for anything, my menu looks like normal now. Just a one-time glitch; posted it because I thought it looks cool.
