KSP Interstellar Extended Support Thread
Shikashi replied to FreeThinker's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
I dont know if this has been asked before. But i cannot find the right processor to create uranium nitride for my pebble bed reactor. nor can i find what the required resources are. i checked the github wiki but the pages are so old they refer to parts i cant even find anymore. So far i think i have unlocked every ISRU EDIT: I found it -
Well, I think i have some mod that allows me to make xenon. OH RIGHT IT WAS KETHANE! Kerbal refinery program
-
Hey folks! I've been wondering, is mining an asteroid and refining the ore and sending the fuel products back to Kerbin proficient or does it provide barely enough to pay for the mission?
-
Translator for english to german and vice versa Though my old company kinda stopped responding, so I am looking for a new one.
-
The year is 256, Kerbin has been exhausted of Ore and Energy, and the people are looking forward to a major climatic catastrophe, a large asteroid hitting Kerbin, wiping out all it's life. Basic rules to this story: I have exactly one year of preparation time, after that, Kerbin will remain inaccessible until a large crew lander of at least 20 people landed at the KSC, with sufficient materials to construct new buildings(think creating a large launchpad factory in EP) Heavily Modded: KSPI-E Kethane Tarsier Extraplanetary Launchpads KIS and KAS A lot of other smaller additions Community will be able to influence the story: Suggestions and Builds are welcome. First part will be uploaded soon! EDIT: Early semester school stress tumbled me out a little, I will try to catch up on the weekend with a proper story and stuff like that.

I plan on building a nuclear powered mining base on eeloo soon, maybe with antimatter power beamed from jool. I use Extraplanetary launchpads, kethane and KSP Interstellar by the way.

Today is my second day at higher education school in Perg. It is heavily IT based, they even learn you basic hacking skills lol. If you know german, look up "HTL Perg".

Hey, @Scotius, do you think formica fusca like algae? I happen to also grow algae to combat mold in my hydroponic farms. -

Actually it helps a lot since there's a lot of common houseflies in my house and they are highly annoying. -

So, Update: I fed her a small fly I just killed and coated with a bit of honey. I hope she accepts my offering. -

We had pretty harsh winters 10 years ago, now global warming kinda changed that. However, I think they're hibernating through winter then. But she must REALLY like the coco noir, seeing as she dug into it within a night. -

Update: One of the two queen ants died, I gave the other one some coco noir yesterday, so she actually has something to dig. I think she likes it, cuz I see some small tunnels and I can't find her anywhere. I choose coco noir because it doesn't really mold and it isn't really hard. -

Great! Is it bad that I gave her a toothpick of honey? I mean, honey still is disinfecting, so it should keep mold at bay, right? -

Yes, the picture you attached very closely resembles my ant. Yes, she already had torn of her wings when I found her, and has proven docile so far. Can you tell me: fully claustral or not? Thanks in advance! -

No, it does look similar, but they haven't got the yellowish section. They are completely dark brown, and so far have proven docile(though I yet have to see any offspring, not just the queens(yes, another one landed in my room yesterday)) They don't just live in the forest, here in Austria, they live everywhere. If my camera weren't so damn bad, I'd take a picture. -

Mine are some species that I don't know. But they are damn common over here in Austria, especially in the forests where their buildings sometimes grow up to two meters in height and a few meters width at the base. I think they are omnivorous, but I can try. -
Greetings, folks of Earth. I am speaking here from the HQ of international Aethernautiks. Ok, I am joking, I am sitting next to my bed. Anyways, I always thought : "Damn, Ants are pretty damn interesting". Now, today, I managed to catch a mated Ant Queen, and put it into a small test tube set up so it can grow it's colony. Maybe, by studying their behaviour, I can learn simple but effective strategies for conquering new planets and terraforming(Ants are vivid terraformers, they do a lot around their homes) I will update on any major events!

Thanks. The part with the control systems would've been too advanced since the people at my school don't even know how a ballpoint pen works, and I did an oversimplified version of the LqF+LOX engine on chalkboard. Also: the presentation already is in the past by now, got a straight A+ on it. Thanks to a lot of pictures from KSP and a live example of a mün mission.

Home sweet Home, a place I gave up searching on earth, and now I have turned my eyes towards the stars to find true comfort.

Hey everyone! I am soon going to have a presentation in school about aerospace technology, engineering and astro sciences. Now, I am already pumped up with a nearly lethal overdose of caffeine to do work, but I still need some help from you guys. There will be sections about general astro sciences, actual engineering, and other stuff, as well as some things about KSP because it simulates it so well. If you can help me out in any way(art, screenshots, or informations), you will be greatly appreciated, and mentioned in the presentation. Thank you everyone.
