There's no RealChute config for Apollo. Those are always stock. You should be able to press space to deploy at 3000 meters (about 10,000 feet) and be safe. Rebuild your craft completely from scratch. No craft files, no sub assemblies. Do not tinker with the default chute settings. Turn off time warp before deploying. Post a screenshot with the UI visible just after the drogues initially deploy, and another just before impact so we can see what's going on. Try activating the LES from the pad and see if that makes a difference.

Bluedog Design Bureau v1.5.2 "Бруно" Fixed typo in Mercury pod name Fix Gemini RealChute compatibility Saturn rescale. Prevent S4 2.5m parts being inappropriately up scaled and support Procedural Fairings parts. Radial solids CoM adjust. Might help with solids colliding after separation. Lower stage solids smoke after flameout. Add Sina tag to LEM passive docking mechanism Allow remote control of LEM Ascent Cockpit Possible fix for SAS issues. Craft may need to be rebuilt. Update RL10, J2, Agena A and D plumes

BDB-ProceduralFairings_v0.1.5 Rewritten to eliminate the need for the extraNodeShift adjustment. More complete removal of stock fairing modules. All fairings should be working now. Note: PF does not like top nodes below the fairing base so the Atlas 5xx fairing has the inner node removed. Use the translate tool to adjust. Thanks @komodo and @Cheesecake for helping sort this out.

It's a stock 2.5-1.25m bi-adapter tweakscaled to 3.125m. And a LEO-M-59F structural part tweakscaled to get from 3.125 to 2.5 (there's also an S4 tank that can make that transition without tweakscale). I didn't put anything under the fairing. You could put an 1.875 Centaur under there, or make a 2.5m cryo stage with the fairing on top of that. It's not very specific so whatever you do is correct.

Kopernicus installs a ModuleDeployableSolarPanel replacement that can deal with multiple suns. It's been a while since I've seen it but it's adds the Tracking Source button among another things. Setting that flag will tell it not to do that. I prefer to declutter the menus since I don't use systems like that. See: GameData/Kopernicus/Config/SolarPanels.cfg

https://github.com/Kopernicus/Kopernicus/releases/latest https://github.com/Sigma88/Sigma-Dimensions/releases/latest My rescale.cfg: Seems to work ok but I've only barely started using 1.6.1. It's not version locked like Kopernicus. And it's not dead that I'm aware of. It's just not supported here on the forums for whatever reason.

Delta is light/small, Atlas-Centaur medium, Titan (with 1205/1207 boosters) heavy. Atlas V is kind of med-heavy. Fortunately they only use 3, 4, and 9 boosters. 3 is easy. 4 is easy too, but if you want them lined up with the mounting positions it's a little asymmetrical so you need to put them on in pairs using mirror symmetry. 9 is also easy, you just put them on in three sets of three. That makes it simple to put one of the sets in another stage for 6 on the ground, 3 in the air staging (using editor extensions 9x symmetry complicates this step a bit). The variable height interstage on Minotaur is to accommodate different sized engines for the GCA.
