  1. What if we make a plane with a smaller plane on top, with the larger one being the bomb itself, and the smaller one being the real bomber? Hmmm...
  2. I have set off on a journey to build the single largest aircraft I will ever make in KSP, even larger than this one. There's a big chance it will be the last supergiant plane I will ever build. Size goals: >600 meters long, >650 meter wingspan, and >250 meters tall. When it's done, it will be posted to KerbalX. I'll probably make it powerful enough to get straight up stations into orbit. I might be insane, but since when is that new?
  3. Hmmmm... This gives me... Ideas. This needs more research.
  4. I think you'll all love my next submission... Get ready, because it'll likely be big enough to fit a DC-3 in it's bomb bay and deploy it without issue. Which means a fuselage over 30m wide, likely 35-40, just in case. Separate bays for fighters will be present. So, single fuselage, double fuselage, or triple fuselage? Which sounds better?
  5. Ok, so it turns out, my laptop does have an internal GPU. I have an AMD Radeon 530 GPU and it sucks for gaming. Good to know that now. Thanks for the help! I wonder what happens if I plug in 4 eGPU's at once...? That'll definitely make a very happy framerate!
  6. I currently use a laptop, if thats what you mean, but I'm currently trying to save up money to buy a new GPU, specifically a GTX 960, because it's good for gaming and it's the best I'll be realistically be able to buy anytime soon. The GPU I have now is an Intel i7, and it cuts out and restarts in the middle of playing many of my games, making them virtually unplayable half the time. Except for KSP, all it does is screw up textures for it.
  7. Surprisingly, no. Actually disappointing myself for once. Most of my time lately has been spent sleeping, I have a really bad case of insomnia lately and I'm trying to force it out by sleeping as much as possible. So far, it's actually working. Well, that, and I've been trying to find the time to start work on parts for BelugaBays, as currently it has nothing in it except a cat picture. Also, it turns out that Intel GPU's are not meant for gaming. I can't record any KSP videos and it's making me sad because I can't afford a more powerful one
  8. Probably in pure terror. Honestly, I'm scared of what I'm capable of. I feel like I'm playing Undertale, I'm able to decide who lives and who dies, who exists and who stops existing, and if they ever existed at all. I think I might need a break. But we all know that ain't happening SoonTM
  9. So... I've been thinking... What if we make flying cities on Jool? Cities that can self-sustain themselves, stay at one altitude, and don't differ from that altitude, even in the harshest conditions? Imagine the possibilities! Flying continents! Bill is going to love this idea! A few hours later... Ok, I may not have thought this through. Bill and Bob are now frothing at the mouth and Jeb and Val have evacuated to the other side of the system. Huh. Time for Plan B.
  10. Anything new? I mean, I don't want to be pushy, but I'm just curious.
  11. If you make another one, call it "Boop" and if you combine them together you have to call the craft BeepBoop.
  12. Nuked the KSC again. Nothing unusual, except it was done using M-29s.
  13. Ok, so I see nothing has been posted in a while, so here's a few old planes. https://kerbalx.com/KebabKerman/LA-613 This one's old, and probably very explode-y, but hey, if it works, go ahead and strap a few dozen bombs on it or something. Nice flying wing design, too! https://kerbalx.com/KebabKerman/AF47-Megafortress "Mother of Kraken..." The first words Bill uttered when he saw this monstrosity. It dwarfs even the Titanic it's so large. It's the largest bomber I have built at the time of this being posted. It, unfortunately, has 218 parts, but it's still rediculously large. It has the potential to level a small country, given the right ordinance. Currently includes no bombs. If hit in just the right spot, however, it could detonate a piece of ordinance, resulting in the largest non-nuclear explosion in history, dwarfing even the Kastle Bravo. Bring this in after AA placements have been destroyed. Can house smaller fighters if necessary, though. Attachment mechanism not included. https://kerbalx.com/KebabKerman/LA-252 Both Bob and Bill fainted when he saw this one's blueprints. Even Val and Jeb looked a bit skeptical. This aircraft dwarfs many things; The VAB, the R&D complex, even the mighty airships of the past, including the Kindinburg. It's so large that it can't take off on the runway, as it strikes the SPH, and we're pretty sure it strikes the VAB, too. Currently untested, and probably broken and unfinished. But I'm posting it anyway.
  14. Alright, time to share what I did at 4:30 in the morning. I flew this in RSS, and ran out of fuel before even getting a tenth of the way across the Atlantic. Download Terrible range, but when coupled with AtmosphereAutopilot, flies almost flawlessly, and keeps trying to stop getting closer to the ground, making for very soft landings when the engines are shut off or run out of fuel after 10 minutes. Probably going to replace the side fuel tanks with the stock ones (SXT has it's own for some odd reason) and extend them, removing the passenger door and replacing it with a mk1 fuel tank, and possibly even replacing a cabin or two to extend the range.
  15. I built a 150m+ rocket. It had correct staging. It could get to Duna, I'm sure of it. And I forgot to turn on SAS. Granted, I had no idea what I was doing, but still... It was face-smashed-though-the-sun-palm worthy. This was also when I was first starting KSP. Since then, I've kept to aircraft, scared of burning poor Bob alive again. But I admit, it was fun. The aerodynamic effects broke when I went into IVA, going into the cockpit. This was done in the last version before 0.90, 0.23.5, if I remember correctly. I don't have it anymore, but it was still a majestic beast. The roar of the engines and the "Massage Chair" proved to be a very good cure for insomnia. Unfortunately, it was too good, and I ended up losing control every time. It's actually very sad, because it could have proved a great quick flag-planting mission rocket. No pics, sorry. It was at least 3 years ago.
  16. Launch it from the folder. It always works. I'm on Windows 7, so it might be different for you, but it should work the same.
  17. KlankCo Presents... The LA-67P! (Don't have a better image, sorry.) Nice and small, easily affordable, and low part count. Be wary of tail strikes, though, the aircraft sits low. Download Stats: Class: Small Regional Jet Max capacity: 48 Max speed: 220-250 m/s Cruising Speed: 230 m/s Cruising Altitude: 5,000m to 10,000m KPPM: We, uh... Don't actually know. We can't find the calculations. But it should be good at cruising altitude. Range: We also don't know this. Shouldn't be too bad though, it does have 1200 units of fuel. Cost: 95,750,000 Extra stuff: Has some space for oversized luggage where there could be more fuel, but hey, we're kinda low on budget right now. At least, until the next plane is built. This is also the only aircraft with navigation lights, from what I've seen so far. So, hey, no mid-air collisions. There will be a variant that has taller landing gear built at some point, too. The aircraft sits low because it's a converted cargo plane. When landing, attempt to level out as much as possible, then deploy the flaps and brakes. When touchdown is confirmed, engage thrust reversers and gun it.
  18. I counted, and it's 264 bombs! Kind late, but I was curious. I thought it was two bays with 132 each, so I just doubled what we saw. EDIT: If I spam decouplers with max ejection force on a girder and put a fairing and fins on it, is it still legal, or do I have to use the ore tanks?
  19. If it's stock, it's allowed! It'll just have a high part count. Also, a challenge: Make a stock propeller using the airliner wings as blades! Big helicopters!
  20. Wait, I forgot to remove those!? Whoops. I'll remove 'em when I get the chance, then update it. I put in more engines to help with takeoff while I was testing it, because it has an issue with speeding up. I've built a shorter version, and I'll submit it later today without the extra engines. As for the wings, they are like that due to there not being large enough stock or Airplane Plus wings for it, so I just clipped them and added a stabilizer at the edges to make the wings look more suitible for the aircraft. I could try using the modular wings, but it'll have more parts. I'll try to remove unnecessary parts on both versions before resubmitting again. Before doing that, though, I'll be submitting another, smaller plane. No spoilers
  21. In that case... Here you go! https://kerbalx.com/KebabKerman/LA-948
