  1. I‘m having the same bug here. Neither „Test Kickback Booster“ nor „Test Launch Escape system“ Show as completed after they were completed and the vessel recovered. No funds added as well. A cold reboot of the ps4 does not help.
  2. i‘m a little bit embarassed, but i hadn‘t tried that yet. i have to confess, so far, it feels even a bit less intuitive to me, but that might just be my intuition. :-) apart from that, it gives me more or less the same „assistive-overlay“-feel as „radial“ does, maybe even a little more. both of them seem to work reasonably well with the given GUI, but the GUI itself obviously doesn‘t feel native to a console. but i don‘t want sound too critical. it‘s kerbal, it‘s running well on a console and absolutely playable. which is already quite an achievement. i’m having fun. i wouldn‘t mind being able to customize controller-sensitivity for certain tasks, though.
  3. got it on my ps4pro. I can‘t compare it to the earlier version, because it was never released in europe, but so far so good. it‘s pretty much the pc-version with console-controls tacked on. text is still small and plenty, loading times are pretty, pretty long, a lot of the controls seem pretty cumbersome and not adhering to console - standards. so it doesn‘t live up to the easy controls of your typical console games - but to capture kerbal‘s complexity with the easy controls of a console game, the whole menu-structure would have had to be reworked - which would probably have been far too expensive I think it‘s mostly for people like me, who already own and love the pc-version, but prefer playing games on a console. apart from it clearly being a mouse and keyboard port, it worked fine and without big hitches so far. not sure, if i saw a few bugs, or if it was just the controls being unintuitive. still, graphics are fine and fluid, the axis are reversible and it‘s still a fantastic game - looking forward to again spending countless hours on it.
  4. Finally, great news. Jan 16th is the international launch date, right ? Regarding the control-schemes... It will be possible to inverse the y-axis, won't it ? (imho, forward just has to be down in a spacecraft)
  5. i've counted down the days to release only to hear from them on launch day, that it won't come alongside the u.s. release. then: nothing and bad reviews of what looks like a crappy port. there were talks of a patch for the ps4 and european release following this, but again, nothing. pretty disappointed in squad - you can sense they come from the marketing side of things. always spinning things in a positive light, and rather keeping silent than being honest or transparent.
  6. no way to reverse the y-axis? at least this lessens my disappointment that it's not out yet im europe. still, please, please, please add this - it's really essential for players who come from the old joystick days or are used to real planes/flightsticks. or is it already the right way ? - pulling back should move the nose of the plane/spaceship upwards. haven't played a game where you could't change this over the last 15 years.
  7. from the devnote on tuesday: seems like QA is done and it's already on the launchpad . i was betting on an august release, so (maybe even early) july sounds like good news.
  8. i've been playing kerbal space with all the functions i need for flight mapped to my logitech wingman extreme 3d pro, which has roughly the same number of buttons/analogue controls the ps4 controller has (16 useable buttons, 2 of which can be used as analogue triggers, 2 analogue control sticks, and a trackpad that takes at least directional swipes) has. for more functions, some sort of selectors could be made, like in some games, where e.g. holding down a shoulder button pops up a few options/button mappings that can be selected with the analogue stick). construction could be a bit trickier, but i don't see, why it couldn't be done without sacrificing too much. i'm looking forward to playing kerbal on my tv lying on my couch and i won't mind if they make some sacrifices to make that work. i don't use any mods, so that's something i won't miss. i hope there's some release-date news soon. i'd rather like know, that they won't make it until the end of March or April at the latest ("early 2016") than being a bit disappointed, when they don't.
