For a variety of reasons I'm away from my normal computer - i.e. my mods - i.e. playing all stock and it is really remarkable how much faster the game loads without 3.7GB of mods
-
I must say, the KerbalX mod - an alternative craft menu with actual sorting options - makes the game SOOOOOOOOOO much more fun

Some of you might have been wondering where I've been. The truth is I got bored of KSP and have moved on to other games for now. I expect I'll be back at some point - probably in the fall - but in the mean time I'm still available on the Linus Tech Tips forums. I'm happy I got to 1000 posts and I hope I'll be back at some point to make that many again.
Goodbye for now, but you can expect me back at some point late in the year, probably when I get bored of Crusader Kings II.

Don't worry, BAK thread is not dead! I'm waiting on a fix for the LY-10's blocked : yes issue before I really do planes again. I have a new batch of designs, but I don't quite feel ready to release yet - If anyone is interested in fixing stuff for 1.1, PM me.

Hi. So, I've had an idea. It's for a NTR/ion spacecraft. It's a 3.75M core, with 1.25M engine pods on the sides. The engine pods are mounted on structural pylons so the NTRs don't overheat the core. The cool part is that it has FRONT FIRING NTR thrusters for braking, toggle w/ Action group. Also, there would be a cluster of ion engines on the main core, for low-thrust burns (like corrections) and augumented thrust for long burns. It would use 3.75M parts from SXT for habitation, and carry three L-1 Basic Landing Gizmos, and an L-3 Atmospherical Landerizer.

Hello all!
The recent successes of Buzzsaw Aerospace in the designs of the T-1 and C-2 aircraft, and numerous other aircraft designs in numerous fields have prompted Buzzsaw Aerospace to begin developing a number of large aircraft using the C7 Aerospace Mark 3 form factor. The prototype of the SP-7 Starfire Single-stage to orbit spaceplane is currently cruising towards a Munar flyby. When released, the craft will carry a small, ion motor driven lander for Mun, Minmus, or similar worlds. Several other designs are currently passing through the approval committee, and will be released in due time. On another note, the automotive and aerospace company BADA55 Industries has been brought into a long-term partnership with BAK (Buzzsaw Aerospace Korporation). BAK expects that BadA55 Industries (Badass Industries)'s automotive construction research will work its way into BAK's designs.
Cheers
