I think that's the most notifications I've ever gotten...
So, what'd I miss?

I know that it's just my view, but your post was bordering on back seat moderating. However I've not reported it since I think you made it in good intent

Thank you for alerting me of that. You were correct, that was not my intention in making that post. I thought it was a simple, respectful statement of why I had not requested that the thread be closed, and under what circumstances I would specifically request that a moderator lock it. I watched tons of people treating each other like crap on that thread, that the mods let go because the forums in general were in an uproar about the Devs departure. But now that it's over for the most part, I thought it wise to state that such behavior would cause me to request that the thread be closed. I do apologize if you and the rest of the mod team perceived it as backseat moderating. I thought I was merely taking responsibility for keeping my thread under control. Thank you for alerting me. I will edit the post so as to make it clear that I am not attempting to backseat moderate.

Rename Gerty! Come up with a good new name for Gerty! Or maybe I'm just going to have to make more crash resistant rovers...
Guess the Weight of the Mint II! Self explanatory. The pad weight.

20,000 tons was solved with a little whackjob engineering and a lot of books to read while waiting for stuff.
Then I got bored. And KSP crashed waaaaaay to many times.
The current ship I'm designing (which ludicrously big) is called the ISPH. In Space Plane Hanger. Basically a giant hanger/space city thing. It's designed as a rescue ship for everything. The Creativity should be able to fit inside it. Also it's about 50% as big as the SPH...
First to guess the weight gets... Ummm... Bragging rights? I guess?

Umm... Anyone have any advice for launching a 20,000 ton brick full of explosive fuel to LKO?
The ship with the Eve-Moho payload runs about 3 to 4 fps. And the first payload weighs 2500 more tons... Ugh. It's going to be a looooooooooong time until another Journey to Dres chapter...

Well, what I do is get about three of the largest Mk 3 tanks stacked on top of each other, then use 6x symmetry mode to put Vector engines all around the bottom edge of the booster, then pop another Vector in the center. I also don’t use structural nose cones, I use fuel filled adapters, as this isn’t the most efficient booster out there, but it will lift very very heavy loads. Unfortunately the Vectors cannot over lap because of their high gimbal range, but it produces an extremely high thrust booster that you can tack on to the bottom and sides of your rockets. I never use the Mammoth because its thrust is often too low for my payloads, and you can only ever have one per booster. For long and/or heavy payloads, I tend to put them radially around the rocket instead of beneath it. Need still more thrust? You can tack the slanted Mk1 nosecones on the sides with 8x symmetry (of course) and put a Vector with a fuel line under each one.
This is a good but inefficient booster IMHO.
