Do they still have contact with the satellite and the upper stage? Could some reentry data be gained from this?
-
The fairing didn't deploy, so now the satellite is bouncing around separated from the craft but trapped inside the fairing. And unlike in KSP, they can't timewarp their way around the issue...

It's been a while, hasn't it. So because of various reasons (school being one of them), I don't have the time to make a new forum for this. HOWEVER, if someone else has the time to make a forum, then please do PM me and we can work something out.

What's your most stupid thing ever you did in KSP?

I accidentally pressed Alt+F4 instead of Alt+F5 when trying to quicksave... aargh! -

Or maybe they don't have drainage and use the trapped air to push the second stage away from the first at separation. (ok, that's almost certainly not the case, lol) -

Anyone remember Iridium-2? -
PM sent. Here's hoping for a response!

I didn't know CS was on the forums, thanks! I'll probably PM them, although I'm unsure of whether I'll get a response back, seeing as they last posted in 2015. Oh well, thanks again!

Good idea. And yes, we can go abroad. Last year a friend flew all the way to LA, so a quick jaunt across the Öresund bridge should be no problem.

For... reasons, I have to contact Copenhagen Suborbitals, and have them respond. Does anyone know a way to contact them, and get a response back? I've tried emailing them at [email protected], and sent a message on Twitter. Any ideas? Thanks!

@keptin Are there any plans to get this challenge back online sometime down the road? If not, may I reboot this? With your permission, of course. -

Apparently the legs on this mission were reused: "...coming in for a powered landing eight minutes after launch reaching its culmination with a gentle touchdown on four fold-out landing legs that had been recycled from a previous rocket." http://spaceflight101.com/falcon-9-launches-dragon-spx-12-first-stage-landing-success/ -
A new type of mouse
TheEpicSquared replied to Poskie's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Looks nice! Would take a bit of getting use to, but I think it could work. IMO the biggest problem that I can see from the gif is trying not to press down too hard when clicking, or the view will rotate, which could be problematic. It looks a lot smoother than a classic mouse, though, which is nice. -
