  1. Some people take this way too seriously. Sure, he edited the stock parts, but at least he can fly it! Some of you can't get to jool with a regular rocket, let alone an SSTO! Chill!
  2. Sounds like a nice idea! Can't wait to see it!
  3. I've finished the introduction and the first scene! See what you guys think: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0ByFj3hLfFCqbUHM1NDhINnhOblU This is a public file, so anyone can watch it I know, the quality on drive is TERRIBLE (I don't know how else to upload a vid to the forums without it being on youtube)
  4. That's okay! My first duna probe was a failure. I forgot that duna has a VERY thin atmosphere and brought along ONE parachute for, maybe a two ton payload. It exploded on impact. The only thing that survived was the antenna XD
  5. I've restarted the movie and recorded my introduction! Will be moving onto editing and posting it, to know what you guys think!
  6. I don't think I will have the time to storyboard, one, it's due in quite soon, two, I'm terrible at drawing Oh, I will! And also, when I finish it, I'll post it in a seperate post
  7. It's due at the end of term, so early to mid-June perhaps. I want to show the audience how the solar system was formed, how Earth (and Kerbin, really) are in the "goldilock's" zone and how water ice on asteroids and comets brought water to Earth I'm guessing for a movie, around half an hour.
  8. Thanks for the help! I think a mission to Eve and Duna would be perfect. By the way, I have made another post in the fan work topic, so I won't be updating this one anymore. Might want to check out that section
  9. Thank you! I really didn't which topic this belonged in and I've posted and reposted twice now!
  10. I happen to be making a movie for my science project on "The Origins of Us". I want to explain the formation of our solar system, how the moon was formed, how asteroids with water ice brought liquid water to earth, etc. However, I don't really know how to convey this information to the audience through a Kerbal movie without a narration (because, you know, narration+kerbal movie = no). So, I kind of needed help with that. Also, i need mission ideas. I have filmed my moon mission, where the astronauts find out that the rock in the moon is similar to the rock on Kerbin. But for the rest, I really don't know. I'mplanning on a mission to Laythe, but again, I don't know how to convey the facts and knowlege to the audience without it being to vague. Also, Kerbal voices. I need help with those too. Thanks UPDATE Just finished my first scene, what do you think? https://drive.google.com/open?id=0ByFj3hLfFCqbLVA1NWFUYlgxSDQ
  11. Hello, fellow Kerbonauts! I happen to be making a Kerbal movie for my science project that my teacher assigned my ECA (extra curricular activity) class. It's based on "The Origins of Us", and I'm focusing on the formation of the solar system, Earth, and how asteroids and other astronomical phenomena enabled life on Earth.. However, I don't have many ideas, and I don't really know how I'm going to inform my audience (class) about the information and facts through such a method. I have filmed my first scene, where the Kerbals fly to the Mun and find that the samples are incredibly similar to those found on Kerbin. However, U don't know about what should happen after that. I'm thinking of a mission to Laythe. But, again, I don't know how to make it informative without it being too vague. So, I need help on ideas. Also, I need Kerbal voices: anyone know how to make those? Thanks!
  12. I'm loving these ideas, guys: keep it up!I think I'll start drawing up my own designs and uploading them soon!
  13. So if I understand correctly, you're trying to say that this might actually cost more than the traditional use-up-and-ditch rockets, right? That's quite understandable. After all, the Space Shuttle ran into problems with maintainance costs and was actually more expensive than normal rockets. Well that's great to hear! I'd love to see a sketch or blueprint too!
  14. Hello, fellow kerbonauts! After seeing SpaceX make history by launching the world's first re-used rocket and landing it back on the droneship, I thought: What if you could re-use, not only the first stage, but the second stage, the fairing, and - well - everything else? Is this even possible? Would it be worth it? I have come up with a few designs for a possible spacecraft, but I also want to know what every one else thinks of this idea. Do you think this would be possible? And do you think it would be worth it? If you have any design ideas, feel free to draw them up (either by hand or using computer software) and share them with everyone else. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
  15. It really bothers me how the parachutes in this game go through each other. Can someone fix that? Pleeeaasse?
  16. Well, thanks for checking out my craft, but no :P. I mean when I try to make a real Space Shuttle replica, my shuttle cannot roll because it pitches and yaws out of control. Thx for checking out my Voyager Shuttle anyway!
  17. Duuuude, for some reason (using the KS-25s) I can never seem to do a stable roll. I roll for a bit, then it yaws, pitches, etc. Can you give me some advice for making my shuttle be able to roll? eg. what engines I should use, or the engine alignment, etc.
  18. Hi, Matt! I'm a huge fan, love your videos! Just one question: do you use a joystick for your planes? Mine seem to overreact when I tap the WASD keys.

Love your videos! You've done amazing stuff.

Dude c'mon where's the grammar? Anyway I generally just have the RAPIERs cycle automatically and just toggle the intakes instead. Also, Xpert, if you're having difficulty press caps lock to toggle more fine controls

  19. Hello, Fellow Kerbonauts! I've been trying for ages and I just cant seem to insert an Imgur album into my post. I've looked at multiple other psots explaining this but I still dont understand. Can someone please show me exactly how to do it (preferably with pictures) Thanks!
