  1. Which mod was used for the rocket in the second album down? Looks like something that would be quite useful. Amazing overhaul, by the way! I downloaded it a few weeks ago and it just adds an extra touch to the game to make it absolutely perfect!
  2. Oh right, sorry. I forgot to do the math... apologies on that.
  3. Hi, mate! Sorry for the late reply. I was checking through for completed entries and didn't notice that you've already finished the Apollo 13 so, sorry. Well, let's get to the point. TIME FOR THE RATING! Presentation: 4/5 In the thread description, I said that I'd love it if you did it Nassault-style, and you did it! There are a few things that could enhance the movie even further, like fade in/out transitions for some scenes or Kerbal voices. But other than that, Great job! Effort: 4/5 These are some very well put together movie clips! Nice choice of music too! Also, I like the Apollo 13 O2 tank "explosion". Clever how you used the monoprop engine as an O2 leak effect (it was the O-10, wasn't it?). Accuracy: 3.5/5 You did a good job at portraying what happened in each of the missions . However, there are one or two things that took a while to understand (eg, at first, I thought that the O2 leak effect was a monoprop engine burn). Overall: 3.75/5 To be honest, I'm impressed at your video-work skills! 3.75 isn't a bad score at all, so don't worry! You did a great job on all of the movies. Last but not least, thanks for contributing and hope you have a fun time in KSP!
  4. Well, congrats! You're one of the first to complete the challenge! Time for the rating... dun dun DUUUUN. Presentation: 4/5 I can tell that you thought very carefully about the camera angles and screenshot timings! Also, very long imagur albums for both of your entries! Effort: 5/5 I don't know why I'd give you a 4/5, all of that I can tell took a lot of time to make! Especially with RSS. Accuracy: 4.5/5 I was looking through wikipedia and checking your entries at the same time. And to be honest, I'm really impressed (which is why I gave you a 5 for effort :P)! There are some things here and there that didn't match up exactly, but don't worry, because all of the timing to land in the right ocean at the right time, etc. is quite unpredictable. Overall: 5/5 I did some math ((4+4.5+5)/3) and that gave you a score of 4.5/5, but I don't know why I should give you that so I gave you a 5 instead! Some amazing stuff right there! Congratulations, mate! Also, thanks for putting so much time into this. It's more than I can ask for!
  5. AMAZING! It takes a lot of skill to pull something off like that it RSS (You must have a rlly good computer too, mine crashes whenever I load big craft in RSS........). Just to let you know, you need to post both of your entries in the same post
  6. No, you don't have to. I'm not that good at RSS either. I've only been able to get into orbit once or twice. Well, good job! That's a nice non-RSS Saturn V! Now, you need to state which apollo mission it is. Also, please post both of your recreations in the same post. I've put that in the rule, just to let you know
  7. Hi, NathanKell! I did post a thread on RSS/RO a while back ("I need RO recommendations", if you remember) and there were great tips and all. But i can't get into orbit, still. Other people go past their AP and then it catches back up. For me, I go past, I'm dead. So I really need an effective way to get into orbit with RO/RSS installed. Thanks!
  8. Wow, never knew it was that easy! Thanks for the advice!
  9. That's completely understandable. Take your time! If you rush, it may not come out as good as you like it! Also, is there gonna be a second part to this video, or is it just an incomplete preview?
  10. And then, how do I upload it to my challenge? How do I make it so that the person gets the badge when they succeed?
  11. I posted that challenge a week ago.....
  12. Amazing! I'm impressed. This is high quality film work right there! Remember, you need to do two missions. One before and one of or after Apollo 11. It would also be prefered that you post both of them in the same post, because I'm getting a bit confused.
  13. Oh yes, you may use tweak scale. NOTE: You get bonus if you use RSS/RO
  14. Yes, but what numbers should I put in each of the parameters?
  15. The only time I've ever been successful in achieving orbit was on a manned flight. My second stage ran out of fuel so I had to use my command-service module to circularize. It wasn't really realistic... But the thing is, I didn't install FAR and Dealdy Re-entry so the re-entry heat was stcok, and you know what happens if you re-enter the atmosphere in the stock game at 7,000 m/s. I had to push the ignore max. temperature button. Then, I deployed the chutes, which I apparently configured incorrectly and my sip crashed into the pacific at 430 m/s. Yeah. Could you please tell me how to configure parachute with Real Chute? Thanks, again!
  16. Well, it's pretty good for a rough draft . And yes, you may use a life support mod. Some recommendations: I see that your rocket has a payload fairing containing the LM and CSM. Remember, I am marking accuracy too. This comes down to both the launcher and what happens. Not to say that yours is bad, but just a tip . Also, yes I understand that the aerodynamics overlay button is the same as the screenshot. What I recommend you do is make a copy of your KSP game and delete the folder that says something like "CSteam". That is what links your game to steam. By deleting it, you delete the controls of steam and you wont have 2 KSPs in your games list. Also, you may want to look up the default screenshot button in the settings menu. Looking forward to seeing the real thing!
  17. Hello, fellow kerbonauts! I've posted a challenge recently (Apollo Program Recreation [1.0.5]) and I've been looking at other challenges as well. But others seem to have badges to go with the successful attempts. I want to add a badge myself but I dont know how. It would be great if a KSP professional could possible tell me Thanks!
  18. Well, good that I'm finally getting some activity here. Good luck, and I'm looking forward to seeing it!
  19. Oh wow, that was a very detailed reply. Thanks a lot! Now I can hopefully make some progress and not kill my kerbals.....
  20. Ahh, I see. I've always been trying to use my atmospheric location to point ( if that makes sense ). I'll try doing this when. I play RO again. Thanks!
  21. Can't even launch a rocket with nothing on it.... I've tried looking at different tutorials and guides, but I just can't seem to do it. I either run out of DeltaV on my last stage or I go past my Apoapsis and re-enter. I tried doing dry runs of my launchers (with no payload), tired increasing delta v, but I just can't seem to do it. Once, I had like 12,000m/s dv and my first stage of 1.6 TWR initially and my second stage of 2.0 TWR initially, but no, I go past my AP. Can you peles give me some recommendations about my TWR and DV requirements and where to point at what time?
  22. Well, you're quite right, I only just started playing RSS/RO like 5 days ago, so I'm not Scott-Maney-professional. I Haven't even been able to get into orbit yet... Well, I'd need some MEDIUM thrust MEDIUM efficiency engines, actually. Maybe 200kn of thrust and 30 units per second is good for me.
