  1. Can we PLEASE have an option for KSP1 legacy camera control and UI. I have tried to get used to the new scheme and I literally hate it with every fiber of my being.
  2. For anyone interested... I mostly stopped ripping my hair out with the camera controls in the VAB. I used AutoHotKey (it's free, I used the 1.x version) and wrote a script that quasi works well... How quasi? Mmmm.... 7 *Archer fans should appreciate... Here is how I mapped mine: The Numpad + (plus) = Zooms Camera In The Numpad - (minus) = Zooms Camera Out Left and Right Arrow = Rotates/Pitches Camera when used in conjunction with the mouse (or trackball in my case). Up and Down Arrow = Strafes (for lack of better term) Up and Down when used in conjunction with the mouse. *There is no "Strafe Left/Right/Up/Down" binding in KSP2 that I have found (If you know of one, please let me know...) so this will have to do, and actually isn't terrible. Writing the script is very simple and here is what I came up with. Once you Youtube a video tutorial for AutoHotKey this will make more sense to you. Takes just a couple mins. NumpadAdd::WheelUp NumpadSub::WheelDown Up::MButton Down::MButton Left::RButton Right::RButton I hope this helps! Fly Safe! There Be Krackens Ahead...
  3. I'm trying to use AutoHotKey. It seems like it will work with the test I gave. I have hope. I want to rebind the whole map from KSP1 to KSP2. Can anyone find a published key binding chart for KSP2?
  4. Well for one, I use a trackball, a Kensington Expert Mouse. I've used them for 20 years and on my 3rd one. I literally hate mice. KEM as a scroll ring, I can map a middle click to one of the 2 unused buttons, but to effectively use it, I have to use 2 hands... If there was an option for rebinding a middle mouse click to a key, that would solve the problem. There is no such thing. I see no reason why there should not be an option for legacy VAB controls... Old keyboard controls using the arrow keys and + /- worked well and were intuitive. I am Incredibly disappointed in this release after 3 years in development... Early Access or not... If this is what they came up with in three years, I don't see this getting much better anytime fast, if ever... Performance is also an major issue... Ryzen 9 5900X, RTX 3080TI, 64GB DDR 4-3600... Any large rocket launching is abysmal with low FPS. After about 10hr's in, I really just want to cry...
  5. I've been cussing the control scheme for 6 hrs...
