  8. I made this on a lark. A reusable nuclear spaceplane with 7,8k dv and the ability to land on the Mun. Previous version did not have enough wing for that, (I would like to point out that if it had been crewed the entire crew would have survived.) dunno how this one is, landing hasn't been tested yet.

  11. The FAT-455 wings have pretty worthless temperature resistance of 1200K, which is half of what most of the other stuff has. (2400K). Nice design though

  18. Went with mk2 instead of normal tanks mainly for aesthetic reasons. But yeh, mk2 parts should probly be avoided, I know they are inferior to mk1+wing combo and I remember cautioning other builders of this very fact. But I just can't help myself lol.
  19. Wasn't quite happy with the Overlord cargo SSTO so I decided to try my hand at making a something lighter that can still carry 3 orange tanks to orbit.   22. I still think you should ditch the radial intakes atleast, all they do is slow you down. But well, pretty much all my Mk2 rapier-only designs are just Mk2 main fuselage with twin rapiers and shock cones attached to radial mk1 tanks, like this one I posted earlier. Sure they are fast and sleek, but the shape does get a little monotonous after a while. So I do understand the decision to use mk2 radial tanks, they do look really nice when slanted like that. https://kerbalx.com/Korsakovski/Thunderbolt-T2C1
  23. You probably don't need the radial intakes. Two shock cones is more than enough for four rapiers. Putting two of the engines behind the main fuselage and then replacing the mk2 tanks in the wingtips with mk1 might also help with the performance. Still, a pretty nice looking craft, liked.
  24. If the shameless self-promotion in someone else's thread is permitted, I have a mk3 interplanetary cargo plane with a rear ramp. It can carry something like 40 tons to Laythe, but it needs to be refueled for the return trip (only 3,3k deltav when in kerbin orbit).
