False, Scott manley tried this. It kinda worked, and was able to regain control at much lower speeds...but he used ALOT of chutes.

If you time warp yes. In the future though we will have up to 10x warp with physics so it wont drift apart. Maybe they can get even higher some day?

Well before i send any manned missions to the planets, im gonna send some kethane scanning satelites, set up a refueling base there, THEN land my kerbals down so ill be a ble to get back home by refueling my ship. Then i will repeat the process on all the planets and moons. Since we can transfer our kerbals via EVAs, docking isnt as needed as it was before, simply launch two ships. One for landing on planet and taking off, one for getting back home.

Yesss i hope the creators allow this, ive been wanting to use these overpow- I mean fuel efficent rocket for my interplantary ships as well
