  1. Hello i have exactly the same bug on earth but just between 120km and 140km. Below it’s fine and when reaching space it’s fine either. I can live with that. This mod is awesome. Thank you very much @ItsJustLuci for your time and good luck for your finals !!

  6. Hey @Sigma88 I too try to make the atmosphere like earth because it seems it decay much faster on earth than on Kerbin. But i can't figure how to do this. Do I need to put something else in the config you provide ? Sorry for the noobish question :-( EDIT : Nevermind the problem I have seems to be related with FAR and not with Sigma
  7. @leudaimon Yep that was this tutorial. Even with a 2 stage rocket (one tiny tim plus a procedural tank and an aerobee) the max altitude was 39km going straight up. The fins were made with b9. A very small rotation on the fins to get spin stabilisation. The strenght was left to 0.25 and no failures recorded on test flight. There must be a problem with the rescaled atmosphere from sigma. I will investigate this way.
  8. Thanks for your reply @leudaimon Are you sure that rp-0 need RSS ? I've managed to do some early sounding rockets and it seems to work well for now (well I have not past the kerman line but i've gathered some science points with my first design) The only thing a bit strange for now is the performance of the rockets I made. I've followed the RP-0 first tutorial and my rocket only go up to 20km (in the tutorial it is stated that it can climb up to 100 with the WAC. I'm wondering if it's a miss in my sigma dimension settings or if the performances of the aerobee have been nerfed. Anyway Thank you for your explanation it is clear now. And for the DSN, i've taken a config file in the 10x Kerbol System mod that put a DSN on kerbin. So yes I got one ;-) Marsu
  9. Hi RO users Please forgive my English it's not my native langage. I'm curently seting up my config to play with RO and RP-0 in a 10x kerbol system. There is something I don't understand with the Deep Space network. I apologise for the newbie question but : if the deep space network cover all the system why do we have to worrie about wich antenna we have to set on probe ? If I understand how it works even with a small dp-10 I will be in range anywhere (except behind body) ? There must be something I am mission here. I feel a bit dumb. And one bonus question but not related to RO : do you know if there is a way to prevent Ven's stock part to revamp the DTS ? I prefer the original look for this dish (just in case someone knew it. The board said that i'm not allowed to do that :-( Don't bother ! I have tried @MrMeeb idea and it works ! I've got my space limit set at 120 km now. I just need to tweak a bit the height of the clouds and i think i'm pretty close to get what i want. Thank you verry much

Continuing playing with the settings I have a bug wich i don't understand : I've tried to go to 10x scale kerbol system with these settings : // Base Settings SigmaDimensions { Resize = 10 Rescale = 10 Atmosphere = 1.714 dayLengthMultiplier = 4 } The problem i have is that space is still happening at 90km just like if i was in 6.4k. I don't understand why. If i'm correct, space in normal kerbol system is at 70.000 km. I want to put it like RSS to 120 km. So 120 / 70 = 1.714. Can't figure why it is at 90 riht now. Is there any sort of cache or something that i must delete before changing the settings ?(I've played some time with a 6.4 rescale with GreenWolf config) Thanks
  13. Hello, I've got a strange bug with this mod. I've started a fresh new career and clic the "SIM" button to look for the settings. A empty window has poped but nothing else happened. No options in the window and nothing I can do to remove it. I can't restore the view, if i right clic the scene i'm unable to turn the camera. I can't enter any building and i can't quit the game. The only solution i've found is to alt-tab and then shutdown the program. I'm on a heavily modded install so i think it may conflict with something else.   14. Hi. I'm still a newbie in the 6.4 but here's my short story ;-) The first time I've tried with à 6.4 rescale I've burned everything. The second time i've killed Jeb due to g-forces ;-) Now I think i'm ok and i've managed to make a safe de-orbit. You need to lower your PE to 30 / 40 km. If you get to low you will have problems. So with this in mind it is easier to re-enter when you are already in orbit. The sub-orbital flight are more stressfull because you can't raise your PE enough. To deal with it i'm really cautious with my sub flight. I tried to never exceed 100 km AP. And I tried to make it as long as I can before reentry. (BTW I play with FAR, DR, and Realheat) Hope this can help.

  16. Hello and Thank you for this mod ! I'm trying to use it to make a full 64k career in 1.0.5 but i'm noob in modding or other stuff. Would you please tell me how to do to get the scansat and antenna rescale ? Do I just need to make a file and copy/past the code ? How should I named it ? Where should I put it ? I feel sorry to ask that because it seems obvious for the others but i'm really lost. BTW i've tried just some simple launch with the rescaled system and everything look good for the moment. Do you know if the custom contracts will work ? For exemple i've Mission Controller 2 installed, do you know if it will rescale the orbit needs for satellite contracts ? But you know it was just to try to put something up For the AP / PE : It was a suborbital flight, I never managed to get the PE more than -3000.... I think my ascent profil was wrong
  18. OMG ! This is going to be more difficult that what I was thinking. I've tried to install theses addons but I'm sure I've miss something : I have only one GroundStation for remotetech and I can see you have more. I will investigate to understand what I have done wrong. Anyway I've tried to make a few launch just to see how it feels...... But all I got was catastrophic failures. I've tried to "replicate" your SkyBolt V but mine was totaly uncontrolable. If I try to make a smooth gravity turn, the rocket flips out. The only solution I had was to go straight up until the solid fuel stage gets empty then turn to 0 degrees to burn the liquid stage. It work....... well not really. My crew died on reentry due to excess G-Force. (AP : 100 Km / PE -3000 meters) Lol this game is going to be interessant ! Would you please tell me your SkyBolt V caracteristics ? Just to see how far I was ? I mean, lenght of the tanks, motor you use, command pod ? (BTW there are some changes in the tree I think because all I got is the MK1 command pod and the AIES first pod.) To conclude here is the big lesson I've learned : You are trully impressive !!!!! Now that i've tried it, i'm really impressed by your skills ! Edit : after tones of crash and a few hours of trying, i've managed to get something in orbit ! Now I will start over with serious application :-)

I really love your way of playing ;-) Just one question : is your telescope actually a real one or is it just a bunch of pieces that "looks like" and you said for roleplay reason that it is one ? Your space program is amazing ! I've read all of it and it's just fantastic By the way i've got one question : with all the changes since the beggining is your modlist still updated ?
