  1. I’ve also encountered this but have yet to try alt + f12. Mine happens when I try to circularization burn, my 2nd stage engine will be firing and my keyboard work up until that point. If I right click on the engine to shut it down, the option to shut it down isn’t there, just thrust limiter (which even at 0 doesn’t slow it down). No keys from keyboard work, no controls or esc or anything. I have found that if I let the stage burn out and I’m not longer accelerating, I can return to KSC (by the blue button above altimeter) and then switch back to the vessel from there and the inputs work again. Started with BG.
  2. Did I miss something about the EVA camera? I used to be able to use right click and drag to change the orientation to make maneuvers easier. I don't know how to describe it really except that the camera in EVA mode seems to make EVAs harder.
  3. Thanks for the replies Starwaster, I was just trying to make sure something wasn't messed up. It sounds like maybe it isn't and that I just got lucky. The scale in game maxes at like 15g so maybe it is hard to say how much higher he got. I was just remembering a play through from maybe 1.05 that if I came in too steeply my Kerbals were toast. I thought the settings like crew G max would set how much they could take before death.
  4. The g force was definitely off the charts for more than a minute. Maybe I don't have something installed correctly or something. Under the DRE G force tab it says max G force for kerbals is 40, maybe that should be lower?
  5. Starwaster, What should the G settings for DRE be for RO/RSS? I just had a reentry that was a total mistake and feel like my poor Kerbal should have died but somehow he survived and I didn't get a warning about reaching G limits like I had in the past. I don't know exactly how many Gs he pulled but it was significant, like going 9 km/s at 60 km.
  6. The only thing in this statement I'm qualified to comment on is the fact that adiabatic compression (in reverse or otherwise) had no hand in the sinking of the USS Thresher. The primary cause of that was flooding due to a failed brazed joint in a main seawater line, among several other things. edit: Well I suppose compression did cause a faulty braze to fail but it shouldn't have.
  7. Major mods I have installed are RO, RP-0, RSS, Remote Tech, Dmagic Orbital Science, AIES. I first noticed that I was not gaining science (via transmission) during a flyby of Venus. Some experiments gave science (temperature, pressure, magnometer boom) while others did not (meteorite, geiger, telemetry). For both working and non-working experiments, the transmission completes and says "done" but for the non-working experiments, no green text shows up saying science has been added. I later added [x] Science and noticed that my recent Mars flyby produced similar results that I did not notice. It hasn't always been like this because I have telemetry data from space around the Moon and from the surface of the Moon. My output log can be found at https://www.dropbox.com/s/yo8fyuf7tu2npqc/output_log.txt?dl=0. This problem is game breaking for me since I am potentially missing out on hundreds of points of science. I have uninstalled all mods and reinstalled them using CKAN but that did not help. I also replaced my remotetech.dll file with one that Fancymouse had modified to fix a similar sounding issue and that also did not resolve it. Any help at all is greatly appreciated. If needed, I can provide screenshots showing examples of what I mean when I get home later.
  8. Thanks for the replay DMagic, I do have remote tech but would that known issue only prevent some experiments from transmitting? I will take a look at that thread to see what I can find but I can transmit some experiments but not others.
  9. DMagic, I suppose since the last update the only experiments that produce any science when transmitted are the stock ones (presmat, thermometer, etc). When I use a DMagic Orbital Science experiment, it goes through the motion of uploading data to KSC and gets to 100% then says done but awards no science. I have the current version of KSP and the mod but I also use RO/RSS/RP-0 which, I suppose could be causing the issue since telemetry also doesn't work. My logs, if they would be helpful, are located here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/yo8fyuf7tu2npqc/output_log.txt?dl=0 Any idea what the issue could be?
  10. Nathan, This is my first time posting and I apologize if it isn't the right place but something odd has been happening since the last RO update and you are a very knowledgable person. I recently did a flyby of Venus and when I tried to transmit science it only worked for stock experiments. It would go through the motions of counting up to 100% and then say done but would award no science even though it says it should and it is the first time I am doing the experiment. It mostly seems to not work with things added by DMagic Orbital science and telemetry. I can fish out logs when I get home but have you heard of anything likes this before? In case it helps: https://www.dropbox.com/s/yo8fyuf7tu2npqc/output_log.txt?dl=0
