  1. This seems like good advice for pretty much all mods, not just B9.
  2. Welcome to the forum! Please read the post below for details on how to report mod bugs:
  3. The link on the Spacedock page should be updated. It goes to the main forum directory instead of directly to this thread.
  4. @A_beholder The HX parts are very big. You may want to use Hangar Extender mod (and the 1.2.x compatibility patch for Hangar Extender) since most vessels made with HX parts will be bigger than the SPH. TweakScale is also useful, if you want to build HX ships that aren't bigger than the SPH. Or if you want to build a ship with individual parts that are bigger than the hangar
  5. Just one minor nitpick: A "hanger" is a thing you hang a coat on. A "hangar" is a garage for airplanes and space planes.
  6. Follow the instructions in the link below, and the modders should be able to help you fix whatever problem you are having: This is not just for OPT, but for all KSP mods.
  7. The KSP Wheel API might help. I can't guarantee that it WILL help, since I am not a modder (nor do I play one on TV), but it probably will help. The B9 and ALG landing gears were also based on the old U4 collider system, and they work properly in 1.2.2 thanks to Shadowmage's sorcery. No need to create new colliders ex nihilo thanks to this tool -- still not easy, but it's at least easier. If you can't do it for lack of skill, maybe someone else can?
  8. Interesting. I quite like that idea, as it sounds like it would make it a little easier to get landing gear on aircraft to line up properly. The only potential downside is that it's impossible to put the landing gear in the Goldilocks Zone -- the gears will be too high for some aircraft designs and too low for some other aircraft designs. ALG is included in KF, along with a bunch of other interesting wheels, so there's no real reason why airplane, spaceplane, and rover designers shouldn't download it. As far as the old OPT wheels are concerned, maybe add them to a future legacy pack update? Incidentally, B9 has their landing gear set up to require KF in order to show up (no KF means no landing gear)
  9. The landing gear in B9 is back, thanks to Kerbal Foundries. Any chance that the OPT wheels might make a return?
  10. It's a fantastic mod, although it could definitely use 4-way and 5-way RCS nozzles. Maybe also engines that run on yakumoyukarium?
  11. @Kerbanej This thread has the info you need on how to report mod bugs to modders.
  12. It's been a few days since I used these engines last, but I recall them having fuel capacity. Maybe remove the fuel tanks in exchange for more power? (and possibly more cost and/or further up the tech tree). Actually you should probably add more power to both of them regardless of other factors, and for good reason: POWERRR!!!
  13. The big Mk2 scramjet has a built-in fuel tank, while the small one does not. I don't know of any other functional differences between the two apart from mass and volume, and see no reason why the small one should be made to be less powerful than the big one.
  14. If it's just a retexture of existing parts, maybe it can be included in the next update?
  15. 'Twas a reference to a certain meme that involves ocean-faring vessels, among other things. If you don't understand, lucky you. That said, this is a good mod, as are all of this author's mods.
  16. Any OPT parts (other than wheels) not in the main pack are probably in the Legacy pack. The Mk2 Scramjet engines are among those parts.
  17. Because a priest, a monk and a rabbi walked into a bar.
  18. Looks pretty good. Make sure you update your Spacedock page for this mod to include this thread. There are currently no such links there.
  19. Squad's IT pirate-ninjas do their best and are working diligently, please wait warmly until threads restoration is finished.
  20. I would like that as well. Sadly, it currently is not possible.
