  1. 0. If the gaining of new Knowledge needs to brake a rule, the rule shall be temporarely deactivated. 1. Kerbals are important. Use drones for Stations or other non-lander-craft. 2. Pilots>Engineers<Scientists. 3. Retrieve every Stranded kerbal.
  2. OK Thank you very much I know but... I like the font...
  3. OK, thank you. I didn't know where to post this ':l) I just found Comic sans. New preferred writing style.
  4. Ok ty I will try that. (but I can't do it right now. And then there is the warframe update....) Edit: I mean I don't have my Pc right now.
  5. I was shooting some kerbal into the Sky when I suddenly asked myself: Is there a mod that random generates individual kerbals cosmecticly? For example other hairstyles, beards, or another Physique? If this is the wrong sub category I'm very sorry, I couldn't find another one. -Lasersword
  6. I have a I2 CPU, heavily modded Ksp, and until now 2 Crashes.
  7. I just wanted to say that afaik people die from Gforces because they don't have enough blood in the head. Kerbals have a head with at least 60% of their body volume. Plus their Legs are barely existent, also you don't know much about their anatomy.
  8. Depending on what you are doing in the moment of playing the song: I would say the standard space theme is nice. If you are about to burn up: Richard Wagner Valkyrenritt (Ride of the Valkyrs(I hope it's spelled that way))
  9. Could you upload 1 or 2 screens from your VAB/SPH?
  10. Oh yeah. The entire HUD is extremely big and doesn't scale to my resolution... Maybe squad wants to do weirdly scaled mobile games? *Puts on Gold foil hat and monocle*
  11. When I changed the version and started playing 64 bit, ksp set my settings to lowest. Is it possible the same thing happened to you?
  12. I have no graphical changes, so I can only guess. Which version are you playing on? 64 or 32?
  13. It might be the change to unity 5
  14. OK thanks to everyone here. I yesterday searched some of the terms used here (the foeum) of which I didn't know what they mean, i also searched for the term Delta V but didn't find any up to date maps. And I heard there were several changes in drag etc. Over the versions. Thanks to everyone. -Lasersword
  15. Z200. It has enough capacity for all my needs (since nearly all my interplanetary ships have ion engines and therefore need solar panels. Those aren't many) and it's small enough to be stacked in service bays. - Lasersword
  16. When you realize that gravity exists while being in orbit. After "launching" a "science vessel" by stacking science parts and a pod, your kerbonauts might need a mobility enhancer. Being on the Launchpad, setting throttle to 100, launching the engines, letting them heat up, deactivating the clamps, and you stay in a nearly perfect equilibrium of T/W until your Boosters have burned like the dream of you getting good in this game someday. The airplane engines destroy your landing gear whilst clocking up in parking position. You try physwarp 4 and your pc can't handle it, your command pod flips after a 5 Irl-Hour mission whilst deorbiting... Your perfect rocket with enough DV the perfect TWR and also pure awesomeness is in the air. And your first ship to ever be in an orbit had some problems with debris you left in space and gets to visit Kerbin again. Burning. PERFECTLY CROSSING YOUR ORBIT. -Lasersword
  17. I tried to script a plane in KOS... Well there are now 12 more names on the flag...
  18. Ok. I wrote a very long answer... My connection died... Everything vanished. The answer said in short: For your first few interplanetary flight, use 1-way drones. It's way easier, you don't need to worry about the way back, you just need enough fuel for a Kerbin escape, some maneuvering, and using your engines as a break. (or use a lander drone.) for the flight to Other planets you need no fuel after the Escape except for maneuver stuff because space has nearly no drag and ksp doesn't simulate this low drag level, so the distance is, from an engine and fuel point of view, nearly not a matter at all. Edit: the original answer also stated that I am not very good in Ksp. Just in case I just said some wrong things please correct me. I would love to learn how to Play this game without burning my Kerbals to death.
  19. I'll try that, I would say that this question has been solved as far as it was possible to solve it... I also got confused about When to burn where. This explanation looks far simpler. Thanks -Lasersword
  20. I watched different YouTube videos and also read the wiki page about orbiting, I for example fail to know when to deaccelerate, turn etc. If I do it like it is shown in a YouTube video I don't have the remaining fuel to stabilize my orbit... But thanks. I'll continue my trying... Kerbalkind will never forget those hundreds of thousands of dead kerbals that helped increasing the knowledge of Space, heat resistance of kerbals, fuel needed to not burn up etc. But seriously, thanks for the Tip with the maneuver nodes.
  21. Hi, I play kerbal now since some months and never even got to Mun without the use of cheats. I can go in an orbit around Kerbin but only with luck, and if I'm in an orbit It is 1:3 Periapsis:Apoapsis. Also I then have no more fuel... What am I doing wrong? Or more specific: how to do it right? I try to get a very high Efficiency with my engines and a good TWR but I still run out of fuel, explode on the launchpad etc. Is this still part of the learning process? Or am I learning wrong? I would be very happy about some help. -Lasersword
  22. Its exactly that sound. Also: RELEAAAAASEEEE Idea: Maybe it is the sound of water getting crunched by the turbines? Edit: Ignore my idea... its just useless. The beeping isnt explained by that
  23. After i tabbed out of Kerbal i soon heard my spaceplane crash into the ocean. I wanted to reset the flight but then some strange sounds started (My KSP is Vanilla and it was on Kerbin Roughly 4km away from the KSC) first it was only some type of transference then it changed to a combination of clicking (this clichee clicking from ALL the aliens with claws.) but very high pitched and a beeping. I lost the "signal" and i wasnt fast enough to record the sound. Any idea what this could have been? (I AM SORRY IF IT IS UNREADABLE DUE TO TYPOS.) -me Edit: With my last fuel for a short duration i went into a area were the sound plays, imagine someone with a clickbot using a xylophone.
