  1. All right, that's fine. I was slightly irritated at the implication that I was asking for an update, and so got snippy. I shouldn't have done so, however, and I apologize.
  2. So, I haven't used Kethane a ton, but now I'm left with a question. With the release of stock ore, what is the point of Kethane anymore?
  3. Dang! I was hoping to be able to use this, but if it's not compatible with TweakScale that's a bit of a deal breaker. However, reading some other comments, it sounds like it isn't as simple as just, "Not compatible with this, sorry." Could someone give me some details? Sorry if this was asked before, and if it was just don't reply and I'll go back and look later when I'm not so rushed.
  4. Already done. Yep, they're only set to help with roll. By horizontal stabilizer, do you simply mean another wing segment? Or a wing segment with ailerons on it? Or canards? Etc. I'll be trying a wing segment with ailerons on it while I await your response. Will be done, and I'll edit this section with the results (for moving my CoL as well). Results at the bottom Actually, I was entirely unaware of that. Thanks for the tip! EDIT: OVERALL RESULTS: Holy crud! I did everything that was suggested (CoM further foward, CoL behind CoM, add rear stabilizers, etc.) and took it out for a flight. I couldn't get it to flip around, and I tried as hard as I could! Thanks so much for the help!
  5. The issue has been resolved! Thanks for the help So, I've played around with Mk2 planes a few times, and each time I do, it always seems to be unstable and want to flip around at the slightest over-turn. Why is this? Here are two photos of the plane that I was using just now: Also note that often when I flip around, it really isn't in situations where you'd think that you would flip around. I'd just be lightly tapping W/S to re-adjust my trajectory and WHAM! I'm in an uncontrollable spin-dive.
  6. So, I'm confused slightly. 1. This does or does not add any retractable wings on its own? 2. So all I do to make a wing able to retract is replace that bit in the config? Or is there more to it, like making the animations for retracting?
  7. "What the heck is a Nyan Cat doing flying across my screen?" (but seriously I didn't download a virus or anything did I?)
  8. Woo! Thanks! I used the OpenGL and dynamic texture loader options, and it dropped my RAM usage down to about 3.3 GB after launching a ship. That may change as I get bigger ships, but hopefully, by the time I'm making giant motherships, 1.1 will have come out.
  9. I was curious if there are any 64-bit hacks/workarounds, and how stable they are. Playing with 70 mods tends to crash your game as soon as you launch anything on 32-bit.
  10. About how much RAM does this mod make use of? Like, in the space center, just at launch, in space, etc.. I just installed upwards of 70 mods via the recommended list of some mods on CKAN and my KSP crashed due to not enough RAM. I can do without visual enhancements, so I'm trying to figure out whether this mod would be worth removing or not.
