  1. Ugh, it's not scatterer that is causing the hard-stop, I rolled it back to the mid-June version and it's still there. Maybe it's AVP. I'll do some more fiddling and see what I can find out. I miss that more realistic hazy fade out. Clouds are gorgeous as usual. When I launched, it was so overcast at the KSC that the rocket was only faintly lit with this very realistic looking twilight. Are you sure you don't want a donation, @themaster401? UPDATE: Ah! The hazy fade out IS there, but only when there are no cloud layers present to obscure it (cloud layers absent on the left, present on the right).
  2. I'm trying to backtrack when I lost that nice hazy fadeout. I'm rolling back scatterer as we speak, AVP will be next failing that. Rain would be a pretty awesome addition to an already awesome mod.
  3. EVE, KSPRC (with sections removed as per the AVP release instructions), AVP, 8K AVP textures, planet shine, distant object enhancement, scatterrer (although the latest scatterrer update appears to brought back the 'hard stop' to the atmosphere, I no longer have that nice slow fade out of the atmosphere).
  4. I actually like how the clouds sometimes have that 'fluid' look to them. I don't find it too obtrusive if I don't go looking for it. Upload screenshots to imgur.com, then right click on your uploaded screenshot and copy the link location, and paste that link into your post.
  5. I can't believe people nitpick over the color, I'm just plain amazed that it's THERE. Anyways, my two cents, to my eyes, the real thing IS blue tinged. Remember (whomever suggested the color change), it's not going to look like lighthing from the ground, it's going to be THROUGH cloud cover. Here's an example video from the ISS... Updated from 3.40 to 3.41, KSP 1.2.2 64bit on Windows 10. Can you confirm that city lights at the KSC and covering the mountain in the background (under the 1x) is not how this should be?
  6. I'm a big fan of this mod. Question: is this developer build usable with 1.2.2 or just with 1.3? Thanks!
  7. @themaster401 Are you using Proot's texture for Minmus? I thought you had indicated as such, but I noticed that the 'erosion/landslide' effect on the edges of the Minmisian plateaus is missing in AVP. Here's an old screenshot of this, which is pretty jaw dropping in how real it made Minmus look...
  8. LOL. I just listened to a bunch of Kerbals break out into song on the way to the Mun. I don't know if that's from the clips you added or the original clips, but that was awesome!
  9. Ugh, I accidentally removed the textures from the texture pack when I upgraded. All is back to normal jaw dropping amazement.
  10. Not sure what is happening. Everything was hunky dory on 3.2.0. When I installed 3.2.1, I lost the volumetric clouds plus the ligtning effects. When I installed 3.2.2, I lost all clouds. I'm going to take a closer look at the files and configs, but any help or suggestions appreciated.
  11. I love the lightning, but is there a place in a config file to lower the frequency, say to half of what it is? Also I was passing the terminator and my jaw just fell to the floor...
  12. Lightning? <watches the vid, sees lightning on the dark side of Duna and Jool> LIGHTNING! OMG, I thought auroras & dust storms were the end-all be-all! <passes out from the excitement>
  13. Oh right, I see it's in the sun.cfg file in the Sun folder in there. Fantastic, I have my old sunflare back, thanks. However when the sun is setting or partly blocked, it's HUGE. Any way to make it smaller, like half the size?
  14. I don't recall any noise, screams or otherwise, when my Kerbals went EVA.
  15. Where is this fabled SVE_settings.cfg which is spoken of? I can't find it anywhere in my gamedata and I redownloaded SVE to be sure I wasn't missing anything and I don't see it in there either. In GameData/StockVisualEnhancements I have an SVE_Configs folder, and in there is SVE_citylights.cfg, SVE_clouds.cfg, and SVE_joolrings.cfg, but no SVE_settings.cfg.
  16. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Didn't completely fix it though. My Kerbals are no longer dying on EVA on the ground, but they ARE on fire (with a hot temperature bar) when they EVA (flames shooting in one direction). Now if I quicksave and reload the saved game, they are no longer have flames shooting out from them, but the hot temperature bar is still there.
  17. Can anyone provide hints on establishing a Tellumo base, or more importantly how to get back to orbit? I don't want a full 'here's the design', just some hints. With a thick atmosphere nicely packed under 45km, it was a harrowing descent just for a probe. So inflatable heat shield and parachutes to get down, but to get back up? A rocket capable of reaching 4km/s?! In that atmosphere?!
  18. Today's forecast for the midlands of Tellumo...a chilly -20 Celcius with variable cloudiness and occasional flurries.
  19. @Galileo Seconded. I was very impressed with the new textures. Great improvement.
  20. @Galileo Thanks much for the city lights. As for the weird glitch with gas giants, I also got that with Tellumo....but I have no pink-titled files in the Default folder in TextureReplacer.
  21. @Temeter Very much appreciated. I wish I could like your post many times.
