  1. It's essential for flying planes. At all. I've about given up on KSP altogether, though. Some of my mods have updated to 1.6, most of them are still in 1.5, and a few are all the way back in 1.4. The updates come so often now that I can't keep my mods current even with CKAN. It stinks.
  2. Never mind, I fixed it. Apparently I had Interstellar Fuel Switch Core installed, but not Interstellar Fuel Switch itself.
  3. Yeah, that's what I figured. But they're not showing up, either there or in the parts inventory. I see the hex segment tanks, but not the full-size ones.
  4. I can no longer find the tech tree node that unlocks the liquid and gas cryo tanks. Which one is it? I'm using Community Tech Tree.
  5. I've been using Feline Utility Rovers for a while and loving it, including in 1.4.5. However, I just started using CKAN to manage my mods, and it shows FUR as being compatible only up through 1.4.4. Is that something that's within your power to fix?
  6. No, neither of those. And I reinstalled all my mods afresh, because 1.4.4 broke so many of them that I just gave up playing until 1.4.5 came out and the modders caught up.
  7. All of a sudden, all my rockets are flipping over in the atmosphere as soon as the main engines cut out. They never did that before. Has there been a change to the drag physics? Adding a fairing helps a little, but not much. Also, my planes are bouncing on the runway like they're made of flubber.
  8. Correction: It was working. It stopped working after I updated KSPI and Interstellar Fuel Switch. Now I can't seem to get it to come back. It looks like whatever broke Kramax also broke Toolbar Control. The yellow wrench is no longer appearing either. Log file is at https://www.dropbox.com/s/7v4ozotdoxfd7dx/output_log.txt?dl=0
  9. I understand, but at the time I posted my query, I was running the correct and latest versions.
  10. Kramax Autopilot works for me now with the latest update versions. I don't know why you wouldn't reply to say there were new update versions. :-\
  11. Any further insight into my Kramax-not-appearing-at-all issue? I uploaded my log file, as you asked.
  12. Ah, OK. Here it is: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gvyqljckrbhnaql/output_log.txt?dl=0
  13. I went straight through the links you gave. That means Kramax v0.3.5, ClickThroughBlocker v15 and ToolbarControl v15. There is no output_log.txt file in my KSP_x64_Data folder, I assume because the program hasn't crashed.
  14. I'm running KSP 1.4.3 and installed Kramax manually to the GameData folder using the links from the front page of this thread. I also installed the two "dependency" mods -- it wasn't entirely clear that I needed to, but it sure seemed like it.
  15. I just had a major OS failure and had to reinstall all my software, including KSP. I've just started a new campaign, and while I've installed Kramax Autopilot, it's not appearing on my toolbar. Is there a certain tech I have to unlock in order to enable it?
  16. I've got quite a few mods installed -- MechJeb, Kerbal Alarm Clock, Kramax Autopilot, Kerbal Engineer, Transfer Window Planner, Kerbal Planetary Base Systems, Feline Utility Rovers, Kerbal Interstellar Extended, Kopernicus, Outer Planets, Umbra Construction -- all the most recent versions, all purportedly compatible with 1.3.1 at this point. But I don't think the problem is with any of these mods. I think the problem is with KSP 1.3.1. To put it bluntly: Physics easing is scrod. Right now I'm trying to perform a simple ore-mining mission on Minmus. Ore mining takes a long while, especially with just two drills on my lander. But I can't speed it up by going to warp. Why? Because as soon as I come out of warp, my lander sproings way up in the air, breaking both my drills. So I have to just let it run in the background for several hours in order to complete a one-star mission. I can't save my game partway through and reload later. As soon as I reload, sproing, break. This is happening with roughly one-third of my landing craft. It happens when I drive a rover within 200 m of the lander that's supposed to pick my rover-driving Kerbals up and take them home. It happens, pretty much, on every world I've landed on that has lower gravity than Kerbin. It even happens on Kerbin: I brought in an asteroid, sent my retrieval vehicle to bring it back to the KSC to add it to my collection; as soon as the retrieval vehicle came within 200 m, the 9-ton asteroid hopped and rolled. This is untenable. Squad should be doing nothing else right now but fixing this game-breaking problem. Version 1.3.1 is the Windows ME of KSP. We need 1.3.2, with properly functioning physics easing, yesterday.
  17. The problems I'm talking about take place under Ascent Guidance and Landing Assist. Docking Autopilot has been working perfectly for me, actually. ETA: Now that I think about it, the problems with large craft have all been during Ascent, and the problems with small craft have all been during Landing.
  18. I'm still using the June version, and I had that oscillation problem while trying to land a small probe on Tylo. Stock SAS kept the craft stable during descent, but under MechJeb it waggled out of control. The problem seems to be worst on very small and very large craft; medium-size craft seem to do OK.
  19. I'm eager to try out all the new flight plans. However, I've already noticed a problem with one: the Black Krags plan. The last step in the plan forces a plane to do a 180-degree turn while braking. I've tried it with two planes so far, both of which flipped and broke off wings.
  20. I had issues 2 and 5 with KSP 1.3, but with 1.3.1, I'm now also having issues 1 and 6. Have not had a successful guided landing since installing 1.3.1.
  21. Is anyone else having problems with physics easing under 1.3.1? All of a sudden, I'll have a craft landed on the surface of the Mun, and when I switch to it, or bring another craft within 200 m of it, or come out of time warp, it'll sproing up into the air, usually destroying one or more parts when it comes back down. I have MechJeb 2, KSP-I, Feline Utility Rovers, KPBS, Kramax Autopilot and a couple of others that I don't think should make any difference (e.g., Chatter). I think the problem probably lies either in Feline Utility Rovers or KSP 1.3.1 itself. Trying to land safely after these incidents is costing me valuable fuel.
  22. Zero percent throttle is very useful when you want to stage an engine without turning it on.
  23. Wait, are you also the author of KPBS? That's one of my favorite mods.
  24. Huh. I don't know why I missed that before. Probably because I always started with the extendible, then tried to attach the flat, static port to it, rather than the other way around. Mea culpa. Can a Lynx port and a Clamp-O-Tron actually dock with each other, or do they only go together during craft construction? Because I know the K&K ports and the Clamp-O-Trons are incompatible.
  25. By "animated stock docking ports," I assume you mean like the Clamp-O-Tron Shielded and the Inline Clamp-O-Tron? Because you absolutely can attach two regular Clamp-O-Trons face-to-face, and it should at least be possible to do that with the flat Lynx docking port as well. (BTW, it turned out the wheels weren't what was causing the clipping problem. It was the antenna on top. I replaced it with a lower-profile 16-S and was able to decouple and pull out of the K&K garage just fine.)
