Fill your rockets with green paper and send them into the sun. How to rocket? -
I used infinite fuel to burn straight toward the Mun and crash a probe into it at something like 5000 m/s. (I forget the speed, but it was fast enough for the whole trip to take only 15 minutes) The probe crashed so hard I went a little bit under the terrain. Does that count?

@Sun No, I edited the post after you ninja'd me... sorry, I should've told you that first

I reinstall KerbalHillProgram.exe. My hill game.

Year 3020.1: A colossal explosion erupts from the asteroid- I mean the black hole, affecting Kerbin's rotation so the day is exactly 6 hours long. (I got ninja'd)
-
Year 2141: Scientists realize that they only have one year until the KSS deorbits. With 10 Kerbals onboard, how can they save everyone in time?
-
Not the best helmet out there.
-
Year 2127: The three scientists invent the Kerbal Scientific Method. Kerbalkind is now 999gazzilion% smarter (just not at math).

What was ksp like when it first came out
dryer_lint replied to awsomejwags's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Whoa, are those palm trees and lakes? Are those cheesy, realistic-looking roads? What are those weird hills in the background? Old KSP looks amazing. -
Your chances of actually hitting debris are very remote. The reason that it's a problem in real life is because debris collisions will make more debris, probably resulting in big Gravity-style clouds of the stuff. But as far as KSP goes, I don't care about leaving stuff in orbit. Actually, I suck at planning my staging, so I just ride each stage up as far as it goes and then activate the next...

Is it me or does this sound like the ability Nikola Tesla* supposedly had? *my username has nothing to do with Nikola Tesla, though

KSP does have ALIENS (TA, TA, TAAAAAAA)

Oooooo. Spooooooky -
Year 209: Kerbals discover that they can "propel" their spears with gunpowder (kinda), but it seems more efficient to just throw them. A small group of Kerbals secretly begin working on the gunpowder propulsion technology...

8/10 You drove the HypeTrain!

I usually keep a book next to my desk when playing interplanetary KSP.

A reminder that KSP has the best community on Earth! (or Kerbin).

I used the ROBLOX forums for a while. Everyone was so abusive, when I first saw the KSP forums I thought there must be something wrong, because everyone was so nice -
Realistic Rockomax "Mainsail" Liquid Engine

Oh my god, this is amazing. You have an quite an eye for this stuff. Personally, I'd like to see the nuclear engine and some particle effects, but you must be overwhelmed with all these requests... -
Why are transfers from solar orbit so inefficient?
dryer_lint replied to Marclev's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Oh, phew. I thought I was the only one who used to do this... -
What was ksp like when it first came out
dryer_lint replied to awsomejwags's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Geez, when I purchased KSP it was already in 0.23.5... I'm such a newbie. I did, however, play the demo for a while. You could walk under the VAB, the only place to land on (crash on) was the Mun, you only had one command pod with only one Kerbal per ship, the SAS system sucked, but I still got addicted to the game right away. -
what should I do next with my minmus base?
dryer_lint replied to peachoftree's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Add a mass relay to blast Kerbals into Minmus orbit -
Considering reaction wheels use electricity, wouldn't this be a "propellant-less propulsion system" like that microwave thruster?
-
Circumnavigate Kerbin...BY FOOT.

Rovers go a lot faster than Kerbals. Sorry, but this challenge is totally insane
